Military Suicides: One U.S. Veteran Dies Every 65 MinutesStory here. Excerpt: 'WASHINGTON, Feb 1 (Reuters) - The most extensive study yet by the U.S. government on suicide among military veterans shows more veterans are killing themselves than previously thought, with 22 deaths a day - or one every 65 minutes, on average. The study released on Friday by the Department of Veterans Affairs covered suicides from 1999 to 2010 and compared with a previous, less precise VA estimate that there were roughly 18 veteran deaths a day in the United States. More than 69 percent of veteran suicides were among individuals aged 50 years or older, the VA reported.'

For "vet" read "traumatized man"
But I guess that wouldn't count for as much.
Suppose if the suicide rate among any subset of the US female population were this high there'd be so much nothing done about it?
What if it were happening to women?
If the suicide rate were this high amongst any female group they'd be tearing the doors off congress to do $omething, and get all kinds of remedie$. Feminist programs get billions, while men's needs go begging
breakdown by sex in military suicides?
Has anyone seen the sex breakdown of military suicides? I have never seen this and would like to know what percent of these suicides are male. I have a guess....
