Dodge: Are women being paid less for the same work?Article here. Excerpt: 'I have become increasingly disturbed by the so-called "feminist" arguments made by some regarding the "War on Women." It seems we've reached an age of political discourse where women are receiving the deference of yesteryear, but not the respect of a rigorous examination of their argument — which, if true, would be grievous. In this piece, I will examine the feminist claim that women are not paid as much as men for equal work. To hammer home the point, in 2012 the Census Bureau released data demonstrating that single women's pay has outstripped their male counterpart's pay in metropolitan areas of the country. So does sexism only start after women wed? The truth is, when the stork brings little messy, crying incentives to shackle earning potential into women's lives, women have increasingly chosen a balance between work and childcare since the passage of the Equal Pay Act of 1963. Gary Becker even got a Nobel for saying as much.'

utter foolishness
if it were true that companies actually did this, then why would they hire men at all? if both are creating the same amount of work (value) as an asset to any typical company, does anybody w/ an actual brain believe the company wheels care the gender of the worker unit? yeah, right.
i have throughout my soon to be over career worked for some real whopper companies, and i have yet to see any of them pay extra just for gender, except through affirmative action. they will hire people because they are women, black, indian, and the list is long, and pay them more. they will also hire relatives (of either gender) of the boss and pay them more than they are worth. but they do not necessarily hire just white guys, who appear to be about the only category of people who hae no 'special' rights in the workplace. this is especially true of government hiring practices.
feminists obviously read alinski's book. also typical. no logic needed. just perpetual victimhood - 24/7/365.
