Grandfather Says Barnes & Noble Kicked Him Out For Shopping Alone In Children's SectionStory here. Excerpt: 'A Scottsdale man is claiming that a Barnes & Noble bookstore discriminated against him when an employee forced him out of the store because he was a male shopper alone in the children's area. Omar Amin, 73, said store worker Todd Voris told him that a female shopper had complained about him being in the children's area May 4 in the store at Shea Boulevard and Loop 101 in Scottsdale. Amin, who was alone at the time, said he was in Barnes & Noble to buy books for his two grandchildren who live in Wisconsin. "Men alone cannot be by themselves in the children's area," Amin said he was told, adding that Voris said other bookstores had encountered problems with child molesters.'

Well, I guess I won't feel as
Well, I guess I won't feel as bad whenever Barnes and Nobles goes out of business like Borders did. If they can afford to kick paying customers out of their store while keeping rambunctious little kids to use their merchandise as toys... well, then that's that.
It's discrimination for sure.
I feel this is gender discrimination all the way,and very stupid. A grand parent can't shop for book for his grand children ?? come on...Even If there are predator problems in that area then their security should beefed up,and not ban a man from shopping in certain areas of the store. When will the PC insanity end,and common sense come back into our society ??
Stupid.
Considering women are just as likely to be peds as men, they should kick women who don't have children out of the children's section as well!
