Hoping for clout with women, Obama urges Congress to pass ‘Paycheck Fairness Act’Article here. Excerpt: 'President Barack Obama, his re-election fortunes heavily dependent on women, pushed Congress on Monday to "step up and do its job" by passing a bill designed to erase the wage gap between male and female workers doing the same job. With Senate Republicans expected to block the Paycheck Fairness Act when it comes up for a vote on Tuesday, Obama urged supporters of the measure to make an 11th-hour push on behalf of the legislation. "At a time when we're in a make-or-break moment for the middle class, Congress has to step up and do its job," the president said on a conference call. "But let's face it: Congress is not going to act because I said it's important; they're going to act because you guys are making your voices heard." "So senators have to know you're holding them accountable. Everything that they're going to be hearing over the next 24 hours can make a difference in terms of how they vote," the president said.'

Of course
Equal pay for equal work means men will make more money. Men work more than women and pick different jobs. They also have far more financial obligations than women. Men support women and children. A woman might support a child (when she can't get child support or welfare) but she'll hugely resist supporting a man. She might do it for a brief while, but only a very few women will do it for longer than that.
Obama's pandering
President Obama is obviously pandering to females for the vote, and has been doing so all along. In many areas females earn more then males.Feminist and the liberal PC media have always "fudged" the statistics to make it appear females earn less by including females that work part time, and females that work in the common lower paying jobs, and other misleading devices to make it appear females earn less. For the most part these statistics are nothing more then feminist and media propaganda, and even now The President is jumping on the feminist bandwagon in a attempt to "use" women for their vote.
Agree, jazzmann
Obama openly panders to women more than any president I can recall. He makes no effort to hide it or to even try to address issues men face. It's all about the woman.
