First Italy, then New York! Perhaps there is a trend starting. Any legislation that pushes EQUAL RIGHTS is good legislation. But then again we need to deal with the controling forces of the communities as well. Anybody ever read most of the laws, and see how they are interpreted by the "guardians" of the People?

"Under the legislation, courts would be required to award joint custody unless something were brought to light to prove such an arrangement would be detrimental to the children. That fact would have to be proved by the party seeking sole custody."
So I suppose we can look forward to a lot more false accusations of 'abuse'.
