Domestic Violence MR writes " Man Fatally Shot by Ex-Wife's Grandmother

"A man picking up his young son for a supervised court visit was shot twice at point-blank range by the boy's 81-year-old great-grandmother and died of his injuries, police said.

Alex Reyes, 26, was shot Saturday while picking up his 18-month-old son, said Jim Amormino, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

"There was no argument," he said. 'She just pulled the gun out and started firing.'"

I would be curious to see what the daughter of this woman had to do with this situation. 86 year old mother perhaps manipulated by daughter to do away with the Father? What does granny have to lose? She will be fed and treated with deference by the other female inmates, and perhaps the guards as well. I don't think they gave enough info, as they would if they were reporting about a Male that did something; they always try to paint a picture when describing a Males crime. Where is the picture here?

Oops! I made an age mistake on the above post, 81, not 86, not that anyone noticed. I wonder why there was no other responses to this?
