More falses accusations
posted by Thomas on 08:43 PM December 1st, 2005
News zerostress writes "This time, it is six men that had their lives broken and spent years in preventive detention following false accusations by a woman. Another good article on this affair can be found here.

In total, 13 of the initial 17 persons originally accused have been innocented."

There is an interesting contrast in the prosecutors statement in this case compared to all of the ones I have seen locally. Locally we have a vindictive female prosecutor who fights tooth and nail to keep people from ever getting a chance to get DNA test done, and when they do get past (if they do) that hurdle, she fights tooth and nail to avoid them getting a retrial or released. No matter how slight the evidence, no matter the perjury, witnesses recanting, DNA *proving the person didn't do it* ...She still fights tooth and nail to keep them locked up like its a notch on her belt, another man destroyed. She has ***NEVER*** appologized to a single one of the people she has kept locked up wrongfully, often for years.

Its quite a contrast with this prosecutor who says "I'm soo sorry this happened to you" even before the verdict.

It is interesting, even in Eugene OR the womyn use a stalking order to help "keep down" Men. The judge that presides over the cases has a reputation for "going along" regardless of the circumstances. That by the way removes the Mans right to possess firearms, and as an excuse if he ever stands up for himself in the future, verbally, "I am referring to verbal discourse only" he can again have a stalking order filed on him. Same judge, same outcome, what happens next? An innocent Man is sent to prison. Isn't it wonderful that so many peple can delude themselves into believing that we live in a "FREE" country?
