posted by Matt on 09:44 PM August 26th, 2005
Inequality Jim Moore writes "Within a year three women at the Daviess County Detention Center (Kentucky), two nurses and a deputy jailer, are caught stealing drugs, forgery, evidence tampering and related activities. The latest: fakes a report of domestic violence and, after being caught at that, is taken home where police then discover drugs stolen from the Center. All three get probation. http://www.messenger-inquirer.com/news/kentucky/8815746.htm"

It's time to say what someone else on here once said:
"I'm no longer their whipping boy. I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm no more...,"

BTW, who said that? And what exactly does it mean? and Is it okay if I use that phrase? I've always liked it, if it means what I think it does. :-)

It was me. (I wish to remain anonymous)

It's is in reference to something I saw on Mystery Science Theater 3000. It is a quote from Joel Robinson. Some poacher guy is sick of being treated like dirt by his fellow poachers so he drives off in a pickup truck, as Joel says:"I'm no longer their whipping boy, I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm no more."
I used it in reference to say; I'm not going to take anymore shit from feminists and/or feminist women.
And, yes, feel free to use it, since I didn't actually come up with the saying.

Okay, Thanks.
That's what I thought it meant.
Is that episode of Mystery science theater the one called "POD PEOPLE"? If it is I actually HAVE that one on video. I'll have to watch it again to hear Joel say that line!
Again, Thanks!

Yes, it's the "pod people" episode.
And yes, "Maggie's farm" IS a Bob Dylan song. I am guessing that is where Joel picked it up from.
