Inequality Evil White Male Oppressor writes "A radio station that held a contest for concert tickets where women voluntarily slap each other is busted and forced to donate money to a nonprofit group that promotes awareness of domestic violence. So what the hell is boxing?!?"

Does this mean that all advertising that features men being slapped, punched, hit in the balls, etc, can be ordered to pay money to a group that highlights DV against men ?

Are thre groups that highlights DV against men?

Ok, sarcasm aside, there are a few ways to look at this, I'm going to highlight two:

1) You can view this much like you did. Apparently, woman on man or man on man violence is not outrageous to the state of NY. We should change their views with written complaints to the NY Attorney General every time some NY TV/Radio station features a advertisement that demonstrates violence against men. Note that under Ammendment 14 to the US Constitution, men deserve equal protection under the law.

2) I could take a wierd psudo-feminist view of this and look at it this way... apparently women are incapable of making up their own minds even when they voluntarily enter a physical contest which, I would assume, they can leave at any time. Feminists should be OUTRAGED! How dare the state of NY tell women that they aren't allowed to make up their own minds and enter any contest they want!

To me, that this was fined at all was the stupidest thing in the world. You can propose any stupid contest you want, but if the people arn't willing to go thru the hoops for the reward, then nobody will show up to compete.

(pardon my French but...) GOD! this is getting ridiculous!
It was a stupid CONTEST! And like Demon was saying these women could have backed out at ANY time!
JEEZE!
So what about "ULTIMATE FIGTHING" Where two men beat the holy Hell out of each other, bare knuckles, in front of a flippin' audience?!?
I guess THAT'S not barbaric! Oh, but if it were women beating on each other untill blood gushed from one of their faces, THAT would be wrong!

You all know what? I an SIRIOUSLY considering moving to another country. I don't know which one, but I'm thinking about it. I've really had it with this s#!t!

Although this particular legal issue focused on mass media "exploitation" of female-on-female violence, if you follow the illogic through to its natural conclusion, it means that The Nanny State must step in and protect women anytime they make choices that put them at risk.

For starters, this means women should not ever be allowed to drive.

Also, they should be "protected" from surgically disfiguring themselves with boob jobs, or even humiliating themselves by buying a dress or shoes two sizes too small.

And, because the majority of female-on-female violence is indirect emotional and psychological aggression learned and refined in schools when they are still girls, these fragile beings should, for their "protection," be prevented from attending school.

I'm surprised that legal dominitrix Gloria Alred hasn't filed a class action lawsuit for reparations!

Ya know, Thundercloud, I've been considering the same thing for the past 2 years. It's out of hand, over the top, bulls**t. Neither political party in this country seems to give a crap, so I am pretty much homeless in terms of a nation to be proud of, or a part of.
I'm boning up on my spanish (knowing full well there are pockets of south america that are already feminized... but some arent!), and it would be incredible to find even a desert island where men and women actually like each other anymore. Right now, I don't. I never talk to women other than professionally for data that must be communicated. I'm curt, but polite, the gazes of slight interest given me are met with a subtle shake of the head by me, I just completely dismiss any interest as a foul idea. What the h*&l has happened to me?!!!...

I know what's happened. It is pervasive feminism.
I couldn't actually care less what happens to these bags of flesh without brains that have the word 'feminist' in their vocabulary. I really couldn't. The angst of the the first 20 years or so has transformed itself into a repulsion to the opposite sex over the last 20 or so years. Yes, it is a reviling thing to even sense a female hand approach me. YET, I am heterosexual. I consider myself to have become a heterosexual non-participant. Do I help them take their crap upstairs? HELL NO! Do I stop for a roadside breakdown? ONLY IF THEY ARE MALE! I'm not happy about my change. It's unatural, but for now it works. Even though I ponder leaving, sometimes on a daily basis, I also ponder staying to watch whan the bloody revolution comes. In my mind it won't be a leader of some group that starts it. It will just be a groundswell of folks that have been painted into a corner, a vox populi of men and the women that love them that have said "THAT'S IT! Live or die, this must stop"
It will be massive and unstopable.
Just my perceptions, of course.

Can you please tell me which are and which are not?
Mexico?
Brazil?
Argentina?
Bolivia?
Peru?

I know all English world is quite feminist -- but not as much as USA.

Timely enough, there is an article at mens news daily by fred reed called "the road to guadalahara",
which talks about quite a few places in mexico, many of which are populated by 'expatriate' americans. Chile is now much easier to make a living in, and though there is feminist influence welling up in a few places there, it's not near as overwhelming as it is here in the good ol' USA. I was checking this out a few years ago, and its about time I jumped into some research again to see how things have developed down in south america. I'll share my results here, but it may be a week or so.
