Inequality Tirryb writes "In This story on the BBC, a mother moved to Turkey and left her 14/15 year old daughter alone to fend for herself. This was a permanent move, not just a 'quicky holiday escape'.

Of course, there is no talk of charges. "The police have confirmed they are trying to trace the woman's whereabouts with a view to bringing her back to the UK." A slap on the wrist seems likely."
