In case anyone is confused about the comments made at the start of the talk, I had some problems with the LCD projector as I gave the talk - it chopped off about my slides so you could only see about 2/3 of them. Fortunately that didn't ruin the presentation, though.

When I went on line in 2001, I searched the web for evidence of a mens movement and all I could find were a rather mediocre selection of "dead sites", typically "last updated in 1997" or something like that. That is , until I found Mensactivism which is to me an ember of light in a world enveloped by the darkness of feminaziism.
