Men's Health Week Gets Major Media Attention
posted by Matt on 11:39 AM June 10th, 2005
Men's Health Indiana Jones writes "National Men's Health Week got coverage from over 10 news sites around the globe. Here's one from Yahoo.

Senator Biden also introduced the VAWA yesterday without a SINGLE WORD on men. In fact, it is even more gender-specific (for women) than last time. I'm afraid that it's going to pass, nearly all of those kind of re-authorization bills passes. Senator Biden had the most complaints, posts, and protests about male DV victims too."

Congress.org is a website that provides almost instant access to your local/state reps e-mail, smailmail, and websites.

You can express your OPPOSITION to S. 1197 to your state's senators now, and even alert your congresspersons (House members) of your views.

The House version of VAWA 2005 is yet to be introduced.

And BTW, the header reference to the ancient Buffalo Springfield song is intentional ...

One might hope ---

"There's somethin' happening here... what it is ain't exactly clear...."

(Excuse the alliteration following....)

"It's a terrible thing ... to be living in fear."
