Women and Children (main) victims of war??
posted by Matt on 11:57 AM June 5th, 2005
Inequality Indiana Jones writes "Feminists have long argued that women and children are the (main) victims of war. True, some of them might have been raped or beaten. However, nothing beats a complete gendercide, where a specfic gender is entirely wiped out.

In 1995, the Srebrenica massacre was the worst civilian massacre in europe since WWII. What's worst, it is a massacre of MEN AND BOYS. Men and boys were seperated from women and children, and they were systematically killed one by one while the women and children were hauled off to safety by the Dutch troops.

More proofs of these gendercide against men have emerged as video tapes. Link: http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=8 18874&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312"

"Feminists have long argued that women and children are the (main) victims of war."

This is perhaps one of the grossest lies in the history of the world. These gender feminists always forget to count male deaths and casualties, when they are conjuring up their propaganda for the sake of politics.

As we all know, logic and sound research are anathema to the gender feminist ideology based on "connected knowing," (women's way of knowing).

Under the gender feminist system, truth becomes only what comes from the mouths of the empowered gender feminist spokeswomen. The scam and deception are endless.

Thanks Ray. Just read this story & can't agree more w/ yr opin. This has been a pet peeve of mine for yrs. I remember during the Balkan conflict how the subject of men & boys being herded into concentration camp-type facilites was quickly overshadowed by stories of women being raped by military men. The latter subject ended up getting more attn -- which didn't surprise me. Reminds me of previous discussions of women in combat in which some people say they're just not ready to see women coming hm in body bags -- as if men coming hm in body bags is perfectly acceptable. But, the issue of violence against men still isn't pertinent to the general media. Thanks again, bud!

This is perhaps one of the grossest lies in the history of the world.

This lie is gross, but not as gross as Amnesty International's claim that "violence against women is the greatest human rights scandal of our time."

The Unequal Burden of War: The Effect of Armed Conflict on the Gender Gap in Life Expectancy
THOMAS PLüMPER

"Most combatants in armed conflict are men, so naturally men are the major direct victims of military operations. Yet, armed conflicts have important indirect negative consequences on agriculture, infrastructure, public health provision and social order. These indirect consequences are often overlooked and under-appreciated. They will also affect women and arguably more so than men. This article provides the first rigorous analysis of the impact of armed conflict on female relative to male life expectancy. We find that over the entire conflict period interstate wars, civil wars and internationalized civil wars on average affect women more adversely than men. In peace times, women typically live longer than men. Hence, armed conflict tends to decrease the gap between female and male life expectancy. For interstate and internationalized civil wars, it does not seem to matter whether the conflict has ethnic roots or whether the central political authority has collapsed. For civil wars, however, we find that ethnic wars and wars in 'failed' states are much more damaging to women than other civil wars. Our findings call for much greater attention to the indirect negative consequences of conflict and for a focus on the various ways in which women seem to bear the major burden of war."

This paper is valuable because it provides evidence of the anti-male pseudo-scholarly claptrap that exists today. I wonder if this "scholarship" was funded by AI or some feminazi interests. Even if you believe the author's "analysis," which you shouldn't, isn't the author's spin of their own results typical. If war reduces women's advantage over men in lifespan, then war promotes "gender equity." But no, the author emphasize that war hurts women more than men.

Men are not disposable sub-humans. Say it loud, and say it again and again.

They are certainly lying about violence against women and men in a way that twists and misrepresents the violence that affects us all. AI has certainly become an organization that is "absent intelligence" as they seek to spread gender feminist propaganda.

Amnesty Stuck on the Shoals of Political Correctness

"In 2001 Amnesty International hired a former UN bureaucrat named Irene Khan and anointed her with the tinpot title, Secretary General. Subsequent events would soon reveal Khan’s true agenda: to turn AI into a base camp for the international radical feminist movement."
