Good article on Masculinity and Society

Masculinity Read it here. Excerpt:

The crisis undermining masculinity has now reached alarming proportions. Under the aegis of the masculine mystique, masculinity has become the "shadow" gender. This is especially apparent in the general view that many men and women have of male sexuality. Masculine sexuality has become routinely associated with promiscuity, rape, and violence. Phallic penetration is most often analogized to the destructive penetration of guns (bullets) and missiles. The concept of generative penetration, the phallus as seed bearer, similar to the creative penetration of planting seeds in the soil or communicating a penetrating idea, is almost never associated with masculine power in our culture but was commonplace in virtually all prior cultures.

It's nice to know that old cultures treated the phallus as something so natural like penetrating the soil with new seeds or the penetration of a new idea. Men and boys are in crisis and they need all the help they can get, and that's why we're here-to help them! Lots of respect to author Andrew Kimbrell.

P.S. Some feminists are SOOOOOOOOOO stupid.

If the studies are true that men who have poor self esteem and poor self image are more likely to commit crimes (Such as rape), why is SO MUCH being done to destroy the self esteem of men and boys????
It seems that it is we women who are creating the very thing we claim to be trying to stop. Doesn't anyone ever think about that?????
Don't the FEMINISTS ever think about that?????

Thinking about that (and acting on the rational conclusions) would mean that feminists actually care about our world and want to help women (even if they don’t care about men). IMO feminists probably don’t bother to think about whether they’re “creating the very thing that they claim to be trying to stop”. It's not on the agenda.

Feminism has long since stopped being about solving problems. Feminism is about creating hateful propaganda that stirs up voters and thus forces politicians to vote more money to feminist causes, and the money is used to create more propaganda to stir up voters so that politicians are forced to vote more money to feminist causes, ad infinitum. And if some women suffer for it, so be it, in fact that's great propaganda.

The cycle of feminist hate being rewarded with pulblic money will not end until voters see through it and refuse to support it.

Why do feminists do what they do? Just follow the money.

Yes, they think about it (IMO), but in a way that is intended to exploite, not helps, males. That's what makes them so vile and hurtful to all human forms of life, i.e. When Men Are Victims of Domestic Violence:

"The Pygmalion Effect is a weapon gender feminists use in a variety of settings to destroy the lives of men. Here, in a nutshell, is one example of how the Pygmalion Effect works, when positively applied: http://www.hrzone.com/articles/pygmalion_effect.ht ml

“'If you tell a grammar school classroom teacher that a child is bright, the teacher will be more supportive, teach more difficult material, allow more time to answer questions, and provide more feedback to that child. The child receiving this attention and basking in the teacher's belief learns more and is better in school. It does not matter if the child is actually bright.'”

The Pygmalion Effect (self-fulfilling prophecy) spewing “the vileness of the evil male” now permeates every strata of media communications, and prime time entertainment, and is only interrupted by half-witted, comic relief advertisements, depicting the biggest buffoon that can be found, once again, the hapless male.

For many men, prison is the culmination of the negativity used against them through the Pygmalion Effect (self-fulfilling prophecy)..."

and

"Through thousands of taxpayer funded Women’s Studies classes on college campuses across our nation, a steady drone of male bashing propaganda is preached to impressionable young minds. Men are unfairly stereotyped in a vilifying portrayal, casting them as advantaged recipients of special “male privilege.” Through the unscientific and unreasoning prejudices of taxpayer funded Women’s Studies curriculum, men are portrayed as dangerous oppressors of women who need special, unconstitutional, restraints put on them."

"According to doctrine evolved from the propaganda preached by gender feminist programs and classes, all males are criminals, or “criminals waiting to happen” who should be treated as guilty until proven innocent."

Astute observation.

And ordinary, "non-feminist" women are "creating it" largely by being passive-aggressive, narcissistic, selfish-but-innocent beneficiaries of the male-hatred spewed and legislated by Feminism, Inc.

Make no mistake. Feminism has evolved.

It started out as a movement for sufferage and equality of opportunity. Then it morphed into an ideology based on neo-Marxist class warfare applied to gender. Then it insinuated itself into cultural and political institutions, thereby assuring a continuing flow of taxpayer dollars.

In it's current form, Feminism Inc. has become a Big Business and a cultural franchise, who's principle product is hatred, purveyed through educational, legal, and media outlets.

For every Gloria Steinham and Andrea Dworkin, there are thousands of "ordinary non-feminist" women who comprise the real feminist army, as they stand by silently and let the hate grow.

Last month I turned 49. I can recall as a young boy when Feminism was making inroads into the media and our culture. I grew up in a 50s Family, Dad worked, Mom was a Homemaker and we had a stable family life.

My life has been anything but stable and I am now living through my Second Divorce. I ended a violent relationship with a Woman who was mentally, physically, and psychologically abusive. I have seen contemporaries Divorced by unfaithful wives who show no guilt, nor concern for their removal from their families. My advice to my Sons is not to marry.

I have 5 Grandsons and two of my oldest children are now Married. I am deeply concerned that our culture has debased and destroyed Family, Marriage, and is destroying any restraints on the
behavior of our Women. While it perpetuates an eternal Victimhood in our Women. Men must take a stand and resist what is happening for our Sons, and our Grandsons. We must demand some equity. We must become more Militant.

The Amazon.com website lists this 1995 book as "out of print;" however 82 used copies are available from the low-low price of $1.82!

The Amazon page also links to numerous other books on masculinity, including an upcoming re-issue of Esther Vilar's classic "The Manipulated Man" available in July!

Will the feminists try to suppress this seditious book again, like they did when it was originally published?
