posted by Matt on 09:34 PM May 22nd, 2005
False Accusations Luek writes "Here is a bit of good news.

The women who falsely accused University of Colorado football players of raping them are ordered to pay the university's legal defense fees.

They will not of course serve any prison time for their crime of false rape allegations but this is a start."

Why is university of Colorado's women's center not been disciplined?!

The 2 false accusers were supported and funded by U of C women's center.

To the best of my recollecion, one of the accusers, Lisa Simpson, went directly from a Wimmyn's Studies class to the party where, she alleges, she was sexually assaulted.

This is the kind of thing that is bound to happen when young students are subjected to systematic political indoctrination, masquerading as education. This is great news. The only way to combat this is to hit them where it hurts - in the wallet.

"It is the policy of the Associated Press not to name alleged sexual assault victims without their consent. Simpson has agreed to have her name used in media reports. The other woman has asked that her name not be used."

Do they extend the same courtesy to the accused as a rule??

Just a minute . . if the alleged assault did not take place and/or is no longer alleged . . then why cannot the women be named without their consent as criminals in their own right ?

Note that it's still "alleged sexual assault" -- even if no report was ever filed to the police.
