RADAR Alert: Washington Times Endangers Children in the Name of "Protecting the Children"
posted by Matt on 07:17 PM May 16th, 2005
RADAR Project One can only wonder what the Washington Times had in mind when they published their May 11 article Protecting the Children. The article ignores the predominance of women among perpetrators of child abuse and leaves the very strong impression that most cases of child abuse are perpetrated by men.

Washington Times Endangers Children in the Name of “Protecting the Children”

To grab the reader's attention, the article opens with the story of a 5-year old who's afraid his abusive stepfather might kill him. Then, having firmly established the image of an abusive man in the reader's mind, the very next sentence describes an abused baby girl. The reader is not informed until the end of the article that the suspected abuser in this case is the mother. The article immediately follows up with several paragraphs giving details of this one violent man's attacks on his wife and stepson. It then goes on to cite statistics showing that caseworkers are predominantly women whose jobs require them to handle too many cases for too little pay.

The takeaway picture is that self-sacrificing, compassionate women are fighting a battle to protect helpless children and women from monstrous men.

Child abuse reports from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services paint a very different picture. In child abuse cases perpetrated by one parent acting alone, it is approximately twice as common for the abuser to be the mother than the father. When such cases result in the child's death, it is likewise approximately twice as common for the killer to be the mother than the father.

By creating the false impression that the majority of child abuse is perpetrated by men, the Washington Times misdirects the attention of policymakers, and leaves the majority of abused children vulnerable.

One would have to be a mind-reader to know what the writer had in mind in writing this story. But one thing is certain. Protecting children was not foremost in the author's mind.

Please contact the Washington Times and tell them the following:

1. U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services statistics show that mothers are twice as likely as fathers to be sole perpetrators of child abuse.
2. By slanting the truth, their article encourages policymakers to distort the allocation of scarce resources, focusing disproportionate amounts on less common scenarios at the expense of more common scenarios.
3. As a result, their article “Protecting the Children” puts children at greater risk.

Here in the UK, the NSPCC (National Society for the Protection of Children) revealed data showing:
65% 0f all Child Abuse is committed by women.
31% by live-in boy-friends or step-fathers.
4% left to sweep up all stranger danger, teachers, club leaders, clergy, siblings, aunts & uncles . . . and Oh! yes, a fraction of the remaining 4% is biological fathers - which effectively renders the safest place for children upon divorce as being with Dad.

However, our courts seem to be of a different persuasion !

The very conception of "a violent home" from which a pretender to adulthood can flee into a State run Shelter from where he/she can stool-pidgeon and denounce his/her alleged "accomplice" for profit is the most foulest of todays ideological immoralities.

Firstly your so called DV shelter, an institution itself' conceived of in human corruption, attracts the worst of societies characters you can possibly imagine. Prostitutes, harlots, the sexually delinquent, the weak minded, the frivolous, the lazy, the hysterical and indeed the habourers of various mental and emotional diseases. This lot are all welcomed as new inmates to the refuge. Hard working peoples with a healthy mind shun this institution like a plague AT ALL COSTS !

Then you have a staff of psycologicaly damaged or demented volunteers manning these shelters who, with a bad concience, leave no stone unturned in their psyco-political agitation comprised of recruitment and retention of more and more humanoid feaces.

Every activity in and of the refuge consists ultimately in dynamically growing the foaming and bubbling mind of man hatred amongst treacherous wimmin and societies "political-elect". No honest man with a clear mind would want a social duplicate of this for himself. These are couldrons of steaming political evil.

They really don't care about the truth concerning domestic violence - if a man is a victim and a woman is a batterer. They are evil. They'll batter a battered man with lies and further abuse just to get some more damned money and to further their bigoted gender feminist ideology.

In addition to projecting the dangerously false and dense impression that men are the primary perpetrators of life threatening child abuse there is also imbedded in the article that the state through foster care and juvenile detention is a safe haven for abused children. This is far from the case. The all mighty state is possibly the worse alternative for caring for abused children.

"The all mighty state is possibly the worse alternative for caring for abused children."

You are not alone in that assessment. Here are pictures from a protest this past weekend in San Diego, protesting the abuse of men . I believe it's the 14th picture down. The sign on the left the man is holding says, "I have a dream." The sign on the right reads, "Social workers routinely commit perjury in family courts, violate state and federal law, and pro-actively work towards the destruction of the non- custodial parent/child relationship. You know this and yet you do nothing! Why do you condone this, then feign concern?? for the child's best interest??"

I love it when people of good will stand up for the rights of other decent human beings. We need more men and women to do just what these people are doing in the photographs (protest the aubses of the gender feminist agenda). As you can see a lot of the signs still needed people of good will to hold them high.

Chicago woman charged with strangling 4-year-old son

CHICAGO (AP) — A woman was charged Monday with strangling her 4-year-old son after he disobeyed her instruction to stay home while she left to do laundry, police said.

Nicole Harris, 23, was charged with murder in the Saturday death of Jaquari Dancy. She remained in custody in lieu of $1 million bond.

Prosecutors said Harris left the boy and his 5-year-old brother home alone as she did the laundry. She discovered the boy outside when she returned about 45 minutes later, beat him with a belt and sent him to his room, prosecutors said.

When he would not stop crying, she wrapped a sheet from the top bunk of a bunk bed around his neck and strangled him until he stopped moving, then returned to the coin-operated laundry, according to prosecutors.

My own personal experience with witnessing abject child abuse was when my family briefly employed a live-in babysitter/housekeeper. She had what turned out to be an illegitimate 5 or 6 year old daughter whom she would viciously beat with a leather belt on the most trivial of pretexts until the poor child cried uncontrollably. Then the monster would beat her until she somehow stopped her intense crying. She would often times come to the point of actually passing out in her attempt to stop the beating by stopping her crying.
