	Dr. Dan writes "Progressive Insurance is thumbing its nose at us on TV again. A woman interrupts her husband while he’s watching football. He sheepishly takes the phone she’s shoving at him, because he didn’t bother to search hard enough for the best insurance deal. They make sure this male-stereotype incarnate has a facial expression making it plain that he’s a doofus. The commercial is entitled, “Bad Call.” Progressive will keep up with this crap until it costs them big money."

I gotta tell you..., (Score:0) by Anonymous User on 12:41 PM January 26th, 2005 EST (#1) ...These people, at PROGRESSIVE, have got to be the stupidest people on the planet! After the stink that we and many other people raised in light of PROGRESSIVE'S "castration ad", you'd think they would get a clue. But appearantly not. I mean, they ended up haveing to re-edit the flippin' commercial so that it would be less offencive. After that incident why would they think that MORE male-bashing would be acceptable?????!!!!!????? Like I said, they have GOT to be utter MORONS! And I think this newest commercial PROVES it!! When the first anti-male ad appeared I wrote and told PROGRESSIVE that I wouldn't ever buy insurance from them as long as they aired the "castration ad". But since they seem to hold nothing but utter contempt for their male customers and males in general, I will never buy insurace from them at all PIRIOD! no matter WHAT they do. They've lost me for good! (And I am gonna TELL them that!)I hope that many people will follow suit, with me!   Thundercloud.   "Hoka hey!"

This morning I got from them the same generic response letter that I got when I E-mailed them about the "Kate Martin caterateing her husband" commercial, last year. Well if nothing else they're consistant. Consistantly anti-male, consistantly redundant and consistantly stupid...!   Thundercloud.   "Hoka hey!"

Another Ad Puts Down Little Brothers (Score:1) by Dr. Dan on 12:51 PM January 27th, 2005 EST (#4) Progressive also has a spot that asks, “Need Little Brother insurance? That'd be nice.” So they not only bash males, but younger siblings as well. As the Most Recent Male Sibling in my family, this sort of thing has gotten a might tiresome. I dare them to show the following on TV: “Need Big Sister insurance? That'd be nice.” Or how about, “Need [insert minority of your choice] insurance? That'd be nice.”
