Fatherhood Anonymous User writes "In Australia, they have decided to remove the anonymity of sperm donors. Result: Men aren't donating anymore. Solution? Ask sperm from the MPs. Will it work? Probably not.

I don't mean MPs, but known sperm donors. I heard somewhere that back in the early days of sperm donation. perhaps as early as the 1920s, that the donor was often known, even often a relative, say brohter-in-law, but this tended to badly affect the marriages, which was why they went to anonymity.
