This is one time I cannot agree. Sprewell is a jerk of the highest order. He has choked a coach. He has been suspended before for shouting profanity at another female fan. He threatened to walk out on his team this year stating that his 14.6 million dollar salary this year was not enough. If he had sworn a profanity at a man and got the same sentence would we be having this discussion. I don't think so. BADGER

it doesn't matter what you personally think of the man. the point is that there is a real double standard that exists in law against men accused of anything against a woman.
the courts crucify men on allegation alone, but similiar deeds done by women - and the media/courts will always look for male culpability and view the woman involved as a victim...

So true.
now-a-days a man can be charged with harassment, or abuse of a female simply by DISAGREEING with her.
(No, I'm NOT kidding!)

You don't think they are just trying to curb this behavior due to the brawl with Artest a week or so before? they have to be a little tighter than before.
