I'm so glad you posted this story about the misandrist United Nations. I just read about this yesterday and was incensed by the hypocrisy I saw in the misandrist reporting of this AIDS story.
This is the same story here , but it just drips with the radical/gender feminist terminology/ideology. The U.N. has become saturated with this same misandrist terminology/ideology.
“Nearly 50 percent of the 39.4 million people infected with HIV worldwide are women.”
Duh, almost half the victims are women, that means that more than half the victims are men. Where has been the concern for them? Where is the concern for men now?
“However, more women than men are now getting the disease also because the virus has escaped the confines of brothels.
Twelve years ago, about 90 percent of HIV transmission in Thailand occurred between prostitutes and their clients. But now, about half of all infections are occurring in the wives of men who visit prostitutes.”
Upon closer examination, that statement is just reeking, and dripping with the vile evil hypocrisy and injustice that has characterized the radical/gender feminists' involvement with the AIDS crisis through the U.N.
If you go to this web site and read this story here you will see that the radical/gender feminist advocates at the United Nations did not give a hang about prostitution effects, at a time (6/12/2001) when it was primarily ravaging men with AIDS. In fact they were advocating for prostitution (worldwide - yes, including America). Thanks Hillary, your leadership in this is duly noted.

Throughout the room, people voiced their agreement to link “sex workers” with homosexual, women and labor groups.”
Clearly the man hating United Nations and its man hating radical/gender feminist advocates are engaging more and more in human rights atrocities (primarily against men) through their advocacy of a male vilifying, radical/gender feminist ideology. ...and it all begins in taxpayers funded man hating women’s studies classes on college campuses.

Along with the U.N., another organization with a global reach is Amnesty International, which seems recently to have been taken hostage by radical feminists.
AI's main campaign at the moment is "ending violence against women..." and a few minutes reading their site will show that it's recycled feminist gender-hatred with a new global spin.

If the proportion of male / female aids victims is 50:50 across the world, and 40:60 in subsaharan africa, it must be more than 50:50 in the rest of the world!
I think it was Christina Hoff Sommers who once said feminists are `statistically challenged'. How about some `statistics sensitization' programs?

My spouse was a co-ordinator at our local AIDS support organization. She had worked in this field for more than a decade. Her twin brother had a partner who died of AIDS. I have several friends who are living with it and who have died of it. I was the most active volunteer at the organization. The queenbee in charge of the agency was a radfem. She made it a point to alienate every male volunteer who came.She was a homophobe to boot. She insulted me at a social gathering for nothing more than being male...one of those you are in arears for the war reparations you wicked patriarchs owe to us poor victims things. I told her off in my infamous style. She retalliated by firing my wife on trumped up pretenses. The outcome of the unjust dismissal suit was that queenbee narcisist feminazi bitch was no longer employable in this province and had to sell her house and move away...nobody at the AIDS organization misses her.One of the sweetest victories in my masculinist career.
I am actually delighted by this current turn of events both at the UN and Amnesty International.What it means is that much like the tobacco industry they, the feminazis, have been forced to try to market their failed revolution in the third world. There is nothing like poverty and no social safety net to make the family a necessity, wether feminazis like it or not. They will only succeed in killing off the last of their credibility.

I was thinking that poverty was a major contributing cause to the spread of AIDS as well, athough it is much easier just to blame men.
Of course the radical/gender feminists teach that all societies are "patriarchal" and privelege all men with power and control over women, thus making all heterosexual sex violence against women. In their warped femi-supremacist hate, they work hard to destroy families so women rule and men are slaves. Their hate agenda is not about equality, but tyranny and fascism. ...not a very sensible or effective way to fight HIV as I see it.

Well I suppose,Ray, that if the feminazis had a couple of decades of being in control in Africa and had succeeded in persuading more women to be lesbians and divorce lawyers and assexual careerists fewer of them would have AIDS....now doesn't that make you despicable patriarchal oppressors feel ashamed and guilty. However, these African states would be equally doomed. You are still young Thea,I am willing to bet that ten years from now if I remind you of this thread you just might feel a tad embarrassed and anxious to change the subject....I can remember being your age and resenting having things like that said to me....I was attending my brother's wedding when a great-aunt, one of my favourite relatives, said to me "you will be next" I replied, "you should live so long" she said "Just for that I will!!"
God love her, she nearly did. She did live to see the woman I married. Late in life my great-aunt became a Mormonite, went to the Temple in Salt Lake City and married her deceased second husband, the love of her life, for time and eternity....I wish then well in Mormonite heaven.

It's doesn't matter that men account for more than half of AIDS sufferers. Men's lives don't count. It's only when women have difficulties that the media cares.

It will kill the media's creibility as well. Alof the thingsthatare transpiring in the AIDS pandemic were predicted with great accuracy a decade ago.
It does not matter wether the methods of addressing the problem are "male dominated"or not. The simple tragic fact is that the resources to treat that many patients do not exist and Africa is going to be depopulated. The more the radfems rant and blame that on men the more they will alienate themselves from any "swing vote".
The media were co-opted more than a decade ago.
If anyone gives you a hard time about this just look down at your crotch and say:
"Oh mighty magic wand, Oh ponderous and all-powerfull key to the city...make the AIDS pandemic go away!!!...What? you are not going to do that?...Well!!! no wonder feminists don't like you!!!"
Then let them get snotty and indignant about your "sarcasm".
When you are dealing with a feminazi, it does not matter what you say or do not say...what you do or do not do....they will find somethingcatty to say about it.
Face it...feminism is one big chronic state of dissatisfaction.
If you want to hurt the media they have co-opted...hurt them financially....undermine their credibility with their advertisers and do not buy the goods and services that support this shit.

December 1 is World AIDs day - so you can look forward to quite a bit more of this kind of stuff, for the next few day, at any rate.
Every advocacy group and even many others, will crawl out of the wood work for their five minutes in the sun.
Don't waste your time and space, lads - it ain't worth it.
One must also remember that what we have here are media reports of initially quite dubious reports to begin with. And reporters rank high among the growing lists of the glittering illiterati who often fail even the most basic tests of "reading for comprehension" (Some even have trouble reading cue-cards! And as for foreign names? - just forget it!)
They'll show their paper's or their station's or other organization they work for (or even their own!) ideological and editoral bias, which we already know. If then we add to that the sub-editor's input and the contraints of space ("No more than 500 words or 7 column-inches and I'll have it on my desk by 5 this afternoon, if you don't mind" - or "I want minimum 30 seconds, no more than 45, and you're number 5 in the bulletin - so see to it! Do we have some vision here?") than we have a result so inadequate as to be virtually meaningless and no-one - and I mean that literally: no one - should take them seriously or waste time and effort on their final, published product.
And, Maus, old chap, what "media credibility" might you be referring to then?

The disparity is not as bad in the media as in education, however according to the book, The War Against Men by Dr. Richard T. Hise, (Pp. 60-61), females comprise 53% of editors, reporters, and technical writers.
In other words the media is a Matriarchal power structure controlled by females and favoring females.
According to the 2001 World Almanac (Pp. 163), there were 1,325,000 male teachers in the U.S. primary and secondary schools in 1999, compared to 3,925,000 female teachers. In other words 75% of these teachers were female. (Pp. 76), The War Against Men, Dr. Richard T. Hise.
If you have a highly misandrist educational system training journalists in the prejudices of the radical/gender feminist ideology, and the majority of the media comprised a female power and control structure that favors females it doesn't take a whole lot of deductive skill to see where all of the bias against men is coming from.
...and it all begins in taxpayer funded women's studies programs on college campuses.

Sorry, that subject line above was intended for the story about homeless people in America. I find it the height of systematic hypocrisy that the Principal made this statement,
"Principal Annette Murray deemed the boy's behavior as sexually inappropriate and handed out the suspension. "Everyone has the right to feel safe at school and the only way that's going to happen is to make sure all children keep their hands and feet to themselves," Ms Murray said."
but then we see graphic, politically correct insensitivity displayed to the innocent young man by the stinking hypocrites,
"The mother was particularly angry that a school official had drawn a picture of a naked person and asked the boy to point on the diagram where he had touched the girl."
I'm with the Parents on this one, and additionally, hope they find a good barrister (lawyer) and sue the pants off their dumb bums.
"They are implying my son is some little sex monster. He is nothing of the sort. He is just a normal little boy. "Sex and six-year-olds do not go together. He has no concept of sex . . ." "I just want my son's name cleared," his father said."
Here's an interesting statement that sounds as if it came programmed straight from the intelligentsia of femi-think/speak.
"Ms Murray told the Albert and Logan News that the boy's age was irrelevant. She said the suspension gave the family an opportunity to discuss why it was not appropriate to touch girls in personal places."
I think these closing statements from an official added some common sense to an insanely out of control political correctness that is aligned with the sexual harassment industry, which is aligned with the radical/gender feminist movement, and the ideological base all begins in taxpayer funded women's studies classes on college campuses.
"This reflects society today . . . this over-reaction, all for the sake of political correctness," she said. "People are jumping the gun rather than investigating something properly." "We don't want children as young as that suspended every time they do something wrong," she said."
I hope someone finds the person's house who targeted that little boy with this politically correct insanity and protests with a big sign that says, "THROW THE BUM(S) OUT!" (dual entendre' intended)

Millions of women and girls are becoming sexually active each day with no access to preventive services, says UNAIDS.
In this one statement is hidden thousands of words. What is it that feminism always does? They always advocate sexual liberation, free-love, having multiple-sexual partners, and sexual immorality. They advocate what is in the communist manifesto; the literal destruction of the family and males as the fathers of the children.
Now. What is the outcome of that behavior that feminists advocate? Women are getting slaughtered by HIV/AIDS. Entire continents are about to be depopulated because of HIV/AIDS. Worse, the infection rate has dramatically increased as feminism spreads. This is no accident, and that is why they go to such lengths in the article to blame men for the spread of aids. Once again women are helpless angles that cannot say no, and every act of sex is rape.
It is as simple as that. Notice that feminists do not tell the women to stop having multiple sexual partners. They cannot do that because that would mean the women are oppressed, and they believe the myth that all men are dogs in heat.
No it is better to be a feminist whore, get diseased, and die than to abstain from multiple sexual partners. Believe me. These women are whores and they are the cause of the spread of HIV/AIDS among the population.
Notice the shocking statistic that 60% of all HIV/AIDS cases are women. That means that only a few males are having sex with a lot of whores that have bought into feminism. The rest of the men are keeping their pants zipped.
