Violence against men covered in Singapore paper
posted by Matt on 12:42 PM October 13th, 2004
Domestic Violence Indianmale writes "This report comes from Singapore. The coverage is very pro-male, comprehensive. During the last six months, I've read stories on this topic from India, South Africa, Barbados, Malaysia, and now Singapore. I think it's a good beginning."

Please fix the link, because I'd like to read the article.

I hope that persons around the world are getting wise to feminist-imperialist lies. They have already done too much damage to good people's lives.

This sounds a lot like what Erin Pizzey has been saying for decades. It's precisely because of the efficient spread of this kind of information on the Internet that feminized governments, like Canada's, want to restrict online free speech under the rubric of eliminating hate sites..

About one out of 10 abuse victims who went in for treatment was a man.

Why is that figure so low?

The men usually suffered the abuse silently. While most female victims reported their abuse early, most men put up with it as long as they could.

The study showed that:

Three out of four men came forward to report only after multiple attacks; and

The male victims tended to be older than the female. Six men were more than 50 years old, representing 42 per cent of the male victims, while only eight women were older than 50, representing 6 per cent of the female victims.

One reason why male victims tended to be older and came with more severe injuries could be that they put up with the abuse as long as they could.

That probably explains why the figure isn't closer to a half.
