Boys' play creates sensitive boys AND girls

Boys/Young Men Anonymous User writes "This research suggests that Boys play creates sensitive children, whereas girls talk creates less sensitive children. Feminism taught me it was the other way around. Here is the story."

Boys may become more "sensitive" to others through their team play compared to girls who play in smaller groups.... but there's a lot of glaring holes in the study, at least based on the article:
How sensitive are girls and boys inherently, before they play? If girls start off more sensitive, and boys less, then maybe their play only makes them convene towards a more similar middleground. The artice doesn't compare also, exactly what "sensitive" means, and how much the boys are, compared to girls either.
The only conclusion I can give on this article is that it is an interesting reversal of perceived "destructive male behavior" and that maybe that viewpoint is, as most of us know, largely misguided.

Anyone ever notice the realationships between alot of teenage girls?
NOT very sensitive, to say the least.
Alot of back-stabbing and betrayals, to say the most.

Right. One of the most remarkable things about feminism is how sexist it is. It claims to be against sexism, but it is no such thing. It actively promotes sexist views of males and females. It is telling us that girls are made of sugar and spice and all things nice. It's exactly what you'd expect to hear from a Victorian clergyman. There is nothing remotely radical or liberal about it. It's deeply conservative.

Don't get mad. Get organised.

I agree that the study is full of holes.

Having said that I can see how "boy play" may result in a more sensitive individual. "Boy play" offers interaction/competition. Competition leads to concequences for actions (both positive and negative) as the actions are very visible. "Girl Talk" on the other hand may result in fewer concequences since the behaviour is easier to hide and only becomes evident if there is a perceived positive outcome.

Ooo.. Look what thinking does to me... it makes me type all smart sounding and stuff
