Is the woman's draft coming?
posted by Adam on 07:04 AM September 22nd, 2004
The Draft bandersnatch writes "According to this article in Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the chief of the Selective Service System has proposed registering women for the military draft. The only question I have is, if they were to introduce the draft again, think the girls would be sharing the front lines with the boys?"

.........Hell no! The typical American girl that I was surrounded by all through out Junior High and High School (girls I was never friends with because I wasn't a pop-culture fanatical, materialistic, superficial,gold-digging, slutty, Cosmo magazine reading, Paris Hilton obsessed, Brittney Spears idolizing bitch like them)would NEVER do something as selfless and free from any shred of vanity like serving one's country. These little girls (who never made it to college unlike me) expect everything to be served to them on a silver platter without lifting a damn finger of effort to EARN it.

Those girls that I hated and distance myself from (because they being the popular girls were gold-digging sluts and if you hanged out with them you were considered to be a materialistic slut like them)wouldn't know a hard day's work if it bit them on their asses.

I also thought that is was funny that their boyfriends (the popular guys who were being exploited by popular girls) would hang out with me more than them.

I guess it was because I wasn't (and still not)a gold-digging, sex-ploitation feminist bitch and I appreciate and love the Male sex and treat them (you guys) with respect and dignity.

Respect and dignity for Men and boys? What a radical concept to most American women and girls. I guess it's too much grasp because it requires common sense and a soul.

But I can bet you, if women were called on for duty due to a new draft, women would be dropping out of the military like flies.

God bless all of the Men who risk their bodies and lives for those ungrateful, materialistic whores.

Better yet, let's send all of those gold-digging sluts to Iraq. Maybe they'll appreciate the Male species a little bit more after facing the insurgents and violent Islamic zealots.

And dealing with REAL misogyny (i.e. being stoned to death and butchered for being a woman/girl who can read and write).

If they don't, then God bless land mines. Can't look like Paris Hilton with all of your limbs missing (or if you're dead).

Also look at this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6015597/ - wow... the evil islamic terrorists are demanding for female prisoners to be released ! So the men in Iraq aren't really that misogynistic. "Evil patriarchal misogyny" is a feminist lie.

Thanks for the kinds words dear, nice to know there are still ladies like you around. But what I was going to post here was my recent experience on an all female forum which has as it's topic "should women be drafted" To summerize the results of my postings in which I told the ladies they should step forward and do their part as men have been required to do for decades, well they do not want any part of that shit (the draft) period. One young lady simply called me a silly stupid man. Ok fine I did not respond to her, remember we are suppose to be gentlemen too. Basically the rest said that I as a man need to understand that women are different both biologically and emotionally and they have no place in the military unless of course they wished to volunteer. One said she could not believe that I could think women should be drafted or that it was even OK. There was no reasoning with them either. I brough up the issue from different angles but bottom line is as a man I just do not understand. In the past I have brough this up face to face with the ladies, all their opinions are basically the same. Many will say no draft for men or women but you know if a draft is necessary, well guys that's your duty not ours.
As for the article here in the Seattle paper, it is very old news, have read this for the last couple of years. I personally believe women will never be drafted.
Gentlemen, if we want some equality starting with eliminating the all male draft, and don't take this the wrong way, we guys need to start haveing some balls and start standing up to the ladies. And that includes myself, we are letting them walk all over our faces.
MS. Thea you mention girls have no respect for men and boys, I would have to agree. Just the other evening I was at the customer service counter in the super market. I was there first but a young lady steped up right next to me and of course did her business first. I intended to tell her to go first but she saw I was a man and did not need my say so. When I hold the door for an older women, usually she will say thank you. But when I hold it for a teen girl or twenty something, well they usually do not acknowledge my existance, after all I am suppose to do that for them right?
I have always been treated well by the fairer gender and am not knocking them in any way. However I am really starting to think they look at men as just creatures here to serve them, for them to use and abuse and to do all the dirty work including fighting wars. Really get this impression form the younger ones.

Same white masters told to the black slaves, same arians told to the jews, the same bullshit aristocrats or any priveledge class always tell.

What did you expected?, never any goup has renounced to their priviledges voluntarely, they were forced to, weather by bloody revolution, (French revoluntion), or political turmoil, (South Africa apartheid), but never ever voluntarely.

"I am really starting to think they look at men as just creatures here to serve them, for them to use and abuse and to do all the dirty work including fighting wars. Really get this impression form the younger ones."

And they are right in thinking that way, people are the product of their circumstances, each society creates certain kind of men and women, traditional societies produces humble and servil women, egalitarian ones will produce working women, and feminist societies produces arrogant female parasites.

Those grirls just expects what they have been taught, and the media reinforces their views, the laws supports their view, and even men behaviour does ratify their views, (when they pay for their dates, marry down, or even worst, marry a non working women), so they are just being coherent.

When men as a whole will acknowledge their second class status, men will change their attitudes and women will have to adapt to the new circumstances, but by now, is exactly the right attitude.

Western societies are divided in two sides, one made from men and working women, and the other from female parasites and their male collaborators.

To win, the working women group should become bigger, and this is very easy, men juts have to avoid non working women or women that make less than them. Women must understand that if they want money they must work fo it, if they want properties they must work to pay for them, and ofcourse, if they want the right to rise children they must support them.

Then, the female social parasites will be depised, not only by men, but by most women, the laws will then protect human beings that works and pay taxes, not worthless females parasites.

No way. You know, I actually do love women for the most part...and it's because I feel they really are the weaker sex. I have several buddies with young daughters, and I'd hate for them to be taken against their will and thrust into a deadly situation. Now that really would be "rape."

I would hate it too but what's right is right. I went through the draft in the early 1970's. All through high school I was really sweating it, graduated and was basically afraid to start college or anything else because I feard fluncking some course and then being drafted. Managed to avoid it for a while but then it caught up with me. Many many times I thought how lucky my female classmates were because they did not have to deal with this monster. Back then it was still a man's world so that gave me a little comfort. Today things are so much different with women seeming to hold all the power. A male only draft would be the ultimate in unfairness. What 18 year old male is going to want to start his college career if it's certain he will be drafted at age 20? In other words he has to quit in mid stream. Yet all the young ladies can go on uninturrupted and not have to even give it a thought. Think of the advantage they will have in the job market too. Furthermore with so many young men not opting for higher education today, the male only draft will add fuel to the fire. Many men will loose the incentive to go on with their educations knowing they will be drafted right in the middle of it.
I have no other way to describe this scenario but Bullshit.
To make matters worse, young women can be draft board members. I find this whole thing about the draft disgusting. I posted my feelings about this on an all female forum titled "should women be drafted?" Only one responded by saying it is not fair to have women on the draft board if women are not subject to the draft. Others said I had a twisted sense of what equality means, others said I was just a man and did not understand how women think, another said I was a silly and stupid man.
How much do women think we are obligated to do for them as men? Did you ever try to argue with women? It's frequin hopeless. I just hope and pray when the draft is reinstated and by reading all that is happening in Iraq, I do not see how it can be avoided, that men will protest load and clear. It is simply outrageous today to have a male only draft.

Well, I'm a man. Proud to be one. As far as brainwashed...well, I would ask you to seek out my other posts on this messageboard, and ask that question again, if you'd be so kind.
FWIW, I stick up for my brothers, and hate the way feminists make all men out to be a bunch of insensitive bastards, or worse.

But, y'know, I think we sometimes lose sight of the fact that not all women are a bunch of shrieking haridans, harpies, and bulldaggers. Some women are actually loving, nuturing, and feminine...and actually appreciate men for what we are. And I refuse to let a bunch of miserable man-haters turn me into their counterpart...a bitter, loveless man who sees only vileness and evil in all women.

I wouldn't like for anyone to be drafted...men or women. Especially not for this bullshit war with Iraq, which is nothing more then a way for our "president" to help his oil-buddies to become even richer...on the backs and coffins of America's best men AND women.

BRITAIN is becoming a nation of people no longer prepared to take up arms and to lay down their lives for Queen and country.

The most extensive survey into the beliefs, fears and prejudices of Britain’s 18 to 30-year-olds has found that just one in five would now fight for their country unconditionally. Almost as many would not take up arms for their country “under any circumstances” and the vast majority of those who would make up the bulk of the Armed Forces in times of conflict would only fight if they personally agreed with the reasons for war.

The Populus poll findings, published in The Times this week, provide a remarkable insight into the minds of the “iGeneration”. Weaned on the computers and taught on the internet, three quarters were raised by working mothers and in a society where divorce was normal — nearly a third say their parents are no longer together.
