Kidnapping Grandma Released Early (Egypt)
posted by Adam on 11:24 AM May 20th, 2004
News CPM writes "Here is a story about a woman forgiven for kidnapping two kids "because they were family". This is an ongoing crime and one of the two perps is simply given a literal "get out of jail free" ticket. She's being deported not extradited! Why is she being set free when the kids are still in the kidnappers' hands?"

When will judges like this have accountability??? (Score:0)

"...grandmother convicted and jailed last year for helping kidnap her grandson...:

"judge reduced Khalifa's three years to 18 months, saying the crime she'd committed was nonviolent and victimless because it was kidnapping by a relative.
"

THE FATHER AND THE SON WERE THE VICTIMS, YOU STUPID BLACK ROBED BIGOT!

"A crime continues to be committed," as Mr. Leving points out. This is absolutely outrageous. This incompetent "criminal judge" should be thrown in jail (for the rest of his life), and this criminal judge's assets should be seized and turned over to the Father who is lawfully trying to get his kidnapped son returned. This judge is an accessory to kidnapping, and should do "life" to serve as an example to other outlaw judges who take Father's and men's rights for granted.

Obviously American citizenship means nothing in terms of constitutional rights to our own government, our own courts. The Father of Elian Gonzalez had more rights in our courts than one of our own citizens.

To make matters even worse it appears the Mother may be a batterer. "Court papers show the mother lost custody of both boys during the divorce proceedings because of child abuse charges and allegations of problems with alcohol."

The actions of this "criminal judge" are nothing less than a human rights atrocity.

Judges like this should be accountable. Are the bars heavy enough?

I'm with Ray on this one too (gee, whadda surprise!),

This woman was part of a KIDNAPPING! So what if it was "mom" who took this US CITIZEN and fled the COUNTRY!? But, we can't have grandma in jail can we!? Nope, she did it out of "love".

This whole story sickens me. She's getting a slap on the wrist. If this judge has a pair between his legs he would have made THIS decision:
Ma'am, it's a simple swap: your grandchild comes back, then YOU go home. And tell your daughter if she comes back, she's be seeing her son through prison bars.

THATS what we do to KIDNAPPERS.

This story just pisses me off in so many ways.
