Man fighting for equal rights.

Inequality CJ writes "In this article Christian Tompras can't get a seat on Chesterfield Township Republican Committee because he's a man. This married 43-year-old Saint Louis University law student plans to sue, alleging that Missouri's committeeman/committeewoman setup violates federal and state anti-discrimination laws. His papers were rejected because state law mandates that only a woman can run for this post. Once again the Associated Press (AP) and the Boston Globe have relegated government sanctioned sexism against men as an "Odds and Ends" news report, whereas if this were to happen to a woman it would be all over the media.. Hasn't society suffered enough due to feminist inspired lawsuits that simply hint of sexism, yet our own government and the same feminists that created these very same types of lawsuits support overt sexism against men? Lets get behind this one…"

I really don't think women should be in goverment. The bible prohibits women from having athority over men aswell as teaching men. The leftists here won't agree with me tho, but its time to have women in the home without any power... time for them to be sweet gifts instead of useless and heavy burdens.

we are not responding as feminists. we are responding as men who are truly interested in equality between the sexes. just because we act against those who are sexist against men doesn't mean that we are interested in being sexist towards women in fact we are very agaiunst those who advocate the "traditional" position of men and women. more bad fates have befallen men because they follow the "traditional" gender role then i care to talk about here.

so please, if you don't actually have any interest in elminating sexism only spreading it, leave.

You are exactly the same as the feminists, you want happy gender equality... albit favoring the man to an extent instead of the woman as we have now. Sorry mister but you are a panzy man, a marxist/communist/whathaveyou. You don't want women to be as they should and how they are wired to be: feminine, obedient, and married for life. Contine you on your bitter path tho, it leads to the same place as feminism leads women: old, lonely, childless. I bet you're one of thoes "guys" that supports fully educating girls too, insteading of marring them to a non-drunkard that will take care of them and whom they will always look up to as their master... husband.

You are ridiculous. You make men who're for fighting for equality look pig-headed and wrong! You are the type who constantly sticks over-used and ignorant stereotypes on feminists. Speaking as a feminist, I can tell you that you are the reason why so many people scoff at well-meaning male movements.

What with the war on and all. even if he dissented it? I mean isn't it a man's "job" to go and bleed his guts out in some god damned country in order to free a people who happen to hate him and want him dead?

and on another note, you really seem to have some kind of focus on this master and slave thing. what are you a freaking sadist? you sicko.

Jimmy i wont go so far as to speak for the whole board i will simply speak for myself, and for myself i am not here to fight for femiminism's definition of what constitutes sexism.I am here to fight a feminism that would define traditional gender roles as sexist. The traditional roles played by both men and women were not established as a result of an " evil patriarchy " or an arbitrary "social construction" as feminists would have you believe but as a result of very real differances in the strengths weaknesses and most importantly the differant motivations of each gender. The evil that we have inherited comes not from recognising or acting on these differances but from a political structure that forces society to not only deny that these differances exist but encourages its members to ridicule and berate those that dare aknowledge them as real.
Feminism's negative effect upon society is based squarely in these distorted notions of "equality" so how can we move towards truth and balance if we stand wth them in this lie?

cain I'am going to have to respectfully disagree with you on some of what you say. i'am not deining that tdifferences between the sexes exist, as a biology student that would be quite stupid. However anytime someone tells me that its my duty to die in a war i may not agree with, or take a back breaking job so that i may provide for a family while only being allowed superficial status within it, which can be broken at any time so that i may be reduced to nothing more then a paycheck and not a loving parent. all because it is the "traditional" role for men, then i question tradition.

as for feminists, I don't believe that feminists are true equaliterians. i see that they have used equality ( or about as close as we can come to it given biological limitations) to act as a wolf in sheep's clothing. radical feminists just happen to be unable to put that sheep skin on. as the word radical means the greatest extention of an idea. if that is so ( and as we all know radical feminists are very pro female privliage/ male obligation) then the idea form which radical feminism extends must not be based on true equality. this isn't true of all feminists however, as i have personaly met and talked with some who are genuinaly okay. therefor feminism, rather well disguised, as a true equalitrian movement, is really a sexist movement.
