I wonder who she have stuck to her story had they arrested someone in the housing project. Seeing how far her lie went would she have kept up the hoax? And after months of him languishing in jail if she recanted, would she still have gotten the same slap on the wrist?

More and more American women are increasingly becomeing the 'gender that cried wolf.'
And we all know how THAT story ends.
But in this case, not just a few suffer the consequences, MANY do. Includeing men and children, as well as other women.

She recanted her claim that a stranger carjacked her, and named the former boyfriend as the man who allegedly assaulted her. Police were able to verify that the man spent part of that Monday morning in a local supermarket.
