No thanks.
I saw it one time a couple of years ago. I have no desire to return to the "scum manifesto".
I already know what that nazi of a s#!t-head has to say and in what calibur!
I don't go there, for the same reasons I don't go to the KKK websites. I already know what the KKK thinks about Indians. And I know what Solanas thinks about MEN!
And you know what? I see NO difference in their retohric. Just change the name from "Men" to "Indians", from "Indians" to "Men".
See? same thing.
Solanas needs to be stopped, just as any anti-semite, anti-Christian, Anti-Indian, or anti-Black or anti-Caucasian people need to be stopped.
No diffrence in the message, mentality or aggenda.
Just diffrent targets for the same thing..., HATE!

Swift's "Modest Proposel" is satire, this is just disgusting to the bone.
people who don't se that solanis's intent here is extremly dangerous and is of no use to society at all.
i'am going off for awhile now. I have to take a shower after reading that

I'd heard of the book of course, but I haven't read any of it. I would never want to lay down money for it, even if it was a used copy.
So it's good that we can get a free sample of this insanity which I'd say is even less restrained than Mein Kampf.
It's amazing that it's so casually accepted by universities as "literature." This is the type of shit many of our future teachers, lawyers, judges, and legislators are learning.

Wow. I what is so frightning is that people actually are required to read this where it is supported. It would be like a White southern college requiring the Mein Kampf and then celebrating whiteness. What is different is that it would not be allowed in this country. I read about 1/2 of it and couldn't continue. It is like she made up some new species, like she has never actually met a real man, just saw them on TV and made an essay about what she thinks they may be like.
I think I may write a letter to the college and ask what their official stance is on the issue.

You might want to forward that letter to the University of Columbia, the University of Minnesota, the University of Texas, and the University of Missouri in St Louis all of which have included the text in some of their curriculums. I'm sure there are others too, but these are the ones I know for certain.

Any college that allows this "Man Hating SCUM" in their curriculum should be sued "for creating a sexist, hostile environment against men." First, a complaint should be filed with the campus ombusperson, or Title IX Enforcement Officer, just to document the sexist hate and abuse that is present in Women's Studies courses on college campuses, but I wouldn't stop there.
I am outraged that so many good young men are dying in Iraq, "allegedly," "to protect our freedoms, and rights" and this is what our college campuses have the nerve to allege about men like them, and men like us (all men). I AM OUTRAGED! I say, "Sue the misandrist bast_ _ _ _, then sue them again!"

What I found interesting was Solanas' prediction that men would co-operate in their own extinction provided that they were provided with enough sex. In the beginning feminists exploited the sexual revolution to get co-operation from men, including "Playboy" editor Hugh Hefner who displayed tantalizing images of self-suporting women who put out. Without the initial lure of free sex, feminism never would have gained a toehold.
Then, when the sexual revolution was no longer useful, feminists began to turn against the very men who helped them out in the beginning, including Hefner. Now feminism is a very anti-sexual movement. All in all it was quite a con job.
Of course men are far from being extinct (despite Maureen Dowd's wet dreams about the shrinking Y chromosone), but we certainly are a lot worse off than we were thirty years ago.

The great majority of hard core feminazi leaders are not hetero. And if you think I am exagerating you should READ what I have read on the MS boards. There is a definate hierarchy over there. They'll deny it, but read for yourself. The Lez Fem's are the "moral high ground" speakers. Why? Because they refer to the HET Feminists (hetero Feminists - they got their own language) are considered priviledged and have to acknowledge it constantly. The Bi Feminists are 2nd because while they know the discrimination they can straddle the fence. The lowest order is the HET Fem ... and folks ... I am NOT making this up. I read a whole thread that was about HET Fems having the priviledges of being able to live in the "patriarchy" and to be invisible within it. And these two HET Fem's had to consistantly apologize and admit their "priviledge" and yadda yadda yadda ...
That, says volumes.

He might have passed for this woman, but that little moustache was too much of a give away.
==================================================
The most shocking thing about this story is that there is so much sympathy and understanding for this female monster.
I've often thought Adolph Hitler was just misunderstood (not). That he was a product of the 1st world war, and had post traumatic stress (True). That he lived in violent times (True). That he was conditioned to play a violent male role by his society (True). That he had a rough childhood (True). That he had poorly marketable job skills, except as Dictator, (True). All that being said he still had free choice to chose the path he took and so did Valerie Solanas.
I think you can see where I'm going with this. Society is overly eager to show understanding and compassion to female monsters. Just last night Charlize Theron won a Golden Globe for "best actress" for her portrayal of poor pathetic Aileen Wornus in the movie Monster.
Here is a movie:

(I Shot Andy Warhol) that you can buy at Amazon.com. Read the sympathetic reviews for the woman who shot Andy Warhol, and wrote The SCUM Manifesto. As I said before, "Hitler in a skirt."

It occurs to me that it is quite ironic that solanis shot warhol. because it can be used to discribe the vast distence between gays(men) and lesbians (most perticularly radical feminists). i think that gay men have been unfairly linked to radical feminism. truth is that they lump gay men into the same mass grave (as solanis would have wanted) as other men. i belive i once heard a womens studies student at my college say this about gays " they can all go and i form aids" or something like that. either way feminists are no friends of gays.

Someone understands that gay men are our brothers too. I was always pissed off when I read mensnewsdaily forums (before great erasure)....so many MRAs there were so blatantly homophobic and gay-haters, it was unbelievable......
Dividing us to conquer us. That's what feminists have done to us. Masculists always refer to themselves as "white heterosexual men", what a big mistake......we are all men, whether we are black or white, straight or gay !!!!
Andy Warhol was a gay man. That means he loved men and respected manhood. But for Solanas and other feminazis, the very existance of gay men is a threat to their agenda because gay men happen to be sexually independant from women and therefore independant from women on a larger scale.
All her mad ideas about men being obsessed with women because they wanted to be as close as possible to the so-called "superior female gender" become meaningless, as it is clearly not the case with gay men. Most of the time, gay men live without women around, and still they can be such geniuses. Andy Warhol was one of them.
And the Greeks in the antics were gay also. They created the basis of Western civilization and deomcracy, and they were gay.
Power to our gay brothers !!!!!!!

what you are saying about the independence of gay men form women is utterly corect. As a matter of fact I believe that is why solonis shot warhol. in the scum manifesto she states that man are incomplete and constently attempting to aquire female characteristics. gays where and are completly independent of women and this must have bugged solanis as it was a truth that completly distroys solonis's world view. she simply can't handle being wrongf so by shoting warhol she attempt to in essence kill all gay men because of her own ignorent and hatefull views.

I will try to keep this brief, which,in and of itself, should be a marvel.
I disagree with the homosexual lifestyle. I won't pretend otherwise. But, that being said, I have always stood up for gay rights. Not as far a marraige, but basic civil rights. Why? Because I think it is indefensible to bash in someone's brains, fire someone, or demean another human being who's only "crime" is to be a loving human being who loves someone in a relationship. Sorry, but I can't be convinced of any mitagation for that. Brutality is brutality. Hell, when I worked at Disney I was very popular with my gay co-workers. Why? Because I told them where I stood, but NOT ONCE did I ever treat my gay coworkers any different. They ribbed me and such, but once they got to know me they realized I was firmly on their side on many issues. I disagree with the LIFESTYLE due to my own Christian beliefs, but made clear that I had many sins of my own I needed to work on before "correcting" anyone else.
Point being, MEN (gay, straight, bi, celebate... whatever) are being screwed over, and we should not let the feminazis divide us.

I am totally into being a Men's Right's Activist, but I won't be a male clone of the Feminazi hatred machine. This is my opinion, but I think that female hating propaganda is only going to bring us down to their level, take away our legitimacy, and soon we'll start using the same lie infested "studies" the feminazis use. No thanks. I am unapologetic in my support of men's rights versus injustice, but I won't become what I am fighting against. Feminazis constantly claim to be all about "enlightenment" while putting out false reports. They claim to be about equality, but they sponsor male-targeted legislation. Feminazis teach our young that being in a hate movement is normal, and I'm not gonna teach my kids that.
Pass on that.

It must be noted that Ol' Val wrote her manifesto in response to Warhol not funding a screenplay of hers. (He even managed to lose the copy in his overcrowded studio!) So, she tried to kill him in revenge. It was always about getting his money.
However, despite her contribution to the modern day wonder known as Radical Feminism, Valerie Solananas died alone, sick and poor in 1988. Oopsie.

I'm sure the book has been cited on MANN before but, "Heterophobia" by Daphne Patai of UMass Amherst deserves mention often. It is an eloquent, insightful, and reasoned analysis of the damage done by the feminist movement to human relationships.

I owe Daphne Patai credit. She is the person I first heard use the term "Stalinist Feminism" to refer to Women's Studies (on HisSide w/Glenn Sacks). From there it was merely a matter of doing the research to overwhelmingly verify the connection.
