Poor Oppressed Female (Score:0) by Anonymous User on Thursday January 08, @01:11AM EST (#1) I wonder how this poster girl for unfortunate females everywhere could be used as an example to show how evil men (patriarchs) in her life have caused her circumstances? I'm sure she was just adjusting her pants, when her hand slipped, went the wrong way, and exposed her bare buttocks to the police officer. I'm sure a good court appointed domestic violence advocate could convince a judge she is the victim and have the policeman punished for daring to look and then misinterpret this poor victims behavior. Too bad for her this doesn't appear to even remotely fall into that category. Show me an emBAREASSED woman, and I'll show you a man in the circumstances that is responsible for the emBAREASSMENT. Women's Studies is such a valuable clarification aid when faced with misleading facts like those presented in this case; facts that don't sufficiently point out this woman's victimization? ================================================== Am I being sarcastic? - Yes. Am I mocking women's studies and stereotypes of females as innocent victims in all situations? - Yes. The biggest joke is seeing this violent offender, get off again with a slap on the wrist, because she is female, when a man in her circumstances would be doing years of hard time for the same behavior. Equal justice under law in America is a joke, and this woman's treatment by our legal system proves it once again. Ray
