In my opinion, If we ever figured in all the undocumented money and assets that women take in just for "selling sex" the glass ceiling myth would be revealed as just one more of the many militant feminist frauds against men.
It is not with out significance, in the modern gender war debate, that prostitution remains the oldest profession known to woman. Once women figured out there was a demand, they became experts at regulating the supply, and thereby the cost. Market manipulation (marriage) insured the asset would be protected even further. Now spin forward to the 21st century, figure in the effects of militant feminism run amok, and... Well, you fill in the blanks.
A woman is capable of being "complete," in and of herself, far more than a man is, and that fact is even truer after a woman has children.
As has been noted before, a man tends to find his "completeness" in a woman, and that is one big reason why we have so pitiful little in the way of a men's movement. As long as women have and control the asset, men will provide the demand, and men will find nothing else of any greater interest. The only question is, as I see it, will there be enough real men to have the strength to stand against the millennia old established system of extortion and say there is going to be a new paradigm, a new millennium man?
Celibate? No way, just man on a different level, liberated by the militant feminist movement to have power and control of his own asset. Women expecting chivalry, and privileged treatment need not apply.
Are women well on their way to totally pricing themselves out of the market? Yes, thanks to the anti-heterosexual agenda being promoted in women's studies on college campuses. Yes, thanks to the militant feminist spawned anti-family/anti-man agenda being carried out by our legal system. Draconian domestic violence programs, unfair child custody awards, unfair visitation rulings, false allegations (rape, paternity fraud, sexual harassment, domestic violence, etc.) are all growing worse in their effects on men's lives daily.
We really need to have a big membership drive and get thousands more men involved in the cause of men's rights/men's issues. I belong to the National Coalition of Free Men (NCFM). and invite others to join that fine organization. I also belong to the Equal Justice Foundation in CO, although I am not a resident of that state. Dr. Corry deserves our support. Are there any other men's organizations that anyone would recommend?
