"Some feminists might say that any sex segregation is problematic," said Mary Anne Case, a professor of law at the University of Chicago who has studied the early roots of feminism and the inequality in sex segregated bathrooms.

Case said that along with creating more bathroom space for women -- a typical problem in public facilities -- the gender-neutral bathroom would also give men and women less reasons to separate in social functions."

Since when is going to the bathroom a social function?

I don't know if the status of men has changed in the last decade, but I remember in my university days men didn't gaggle off to the bathroom together. Women did and still do, but men don't.

Yea lady, like I feel so much more at ease talking to you now that I've heard you tinkle, and you've heard me groan, fart and then spit in the urinal while I was taking a whiz. What a great idea for an ice breaker. Leave to pheminutz to come up with just the right ambiance for those "social occasions." What'll they think of next?

I understand the possible problems that a transsexual may run into, but they seem minimal compared to the cost and expendature of having special bathrooms. How the hell are these marked anyways? Are there going to be bathrooms for gays, lesbians, male to female transsexuals, both pre and post op? and also female to male transsexuals, pre and post op? What about bi-sexuals? What about different races? Socio-economic status? Religious beliefs? I'm afraid once we start down that path, it will be never ending.

I want my own special bathroom for tall guys, with the urinals set way up, so's I can watch the short little runts come in and piss all over themselves trying to get their schlongs over the edge of the urinal.

Now THAT'S entertainment!

Christ in a bucket, when, oh when, is someone EVER going to get up, point at these people, and tell them they are out of their fucking minds? What say, guys, we take up a collection and buy a bunch of little plastic models so we can get these asswipes a real hobby?

It's the classic difference between genius and stupidity. Genius has limits.
