Trials seen needed for anti-aging testosterone

Men's Health CJ writes "There is evidence that testosterone replacement could combat declining strength, failing memory, and decreased sex drive in aging men. But unlike the multitude of contemporary studies on hormone replacement for women, testosterone as an anti-aging agent still has had no large-scale trial into the hormone therapy's true risks and benefits. The NIA plans to fund studies of testosterone replacement as recommended by Institue of Medicine panel who found that data was lacking in this area."
