Under Reporting (Score:2) by Luek on Monday October 20, @04:24AM EST (#1) (User #358 Info) 40% of wives will have an affair? I believe it is at least 50%. The 40% figure is probably based on very old and outdated material. Material gathered when more wives stayed at home. Now with more wives in the work force there are more opportunities for them to cheat on their husbands. Also, there doesn't seem to be that much of a social stigma attached to women having an affair as there is of men doing so. The stupid rationale being, "well, men have been doing it for years now it is time for a little payback." Another legacy of 40 years of radical feminism. Just another case of under reporting domestic issues like the under reporting of domestic abuse against men.
