UCLA Daily Bruin Prints NCFM Letter Refuting Pay Gap

from the wage-gap dept.
The So-called Wage Gap Marc writes "There is currently a 4-day conference at UCLA on women and pay inequities. So the UCLA Daily Bruin on Monday printed the usual myths about pay gaps by citing weekly earnings without giving details about other important factors (hours worked, experience, spending power, etc.). Thankfully they did print our letter refuting their distortions. And it's good timing - right while the conference is still taking place. I thank Joe Manthey of Kid Culture in the Schools for sending us the original Daily Bruin article."

"When will men drop their self-sacrificing chivalry and start challenging these misandrous lies?"

I liked that letter. I've been thinking of asking mens activists here how we can go about abolishing chivalry. Because men seem to love it, and women don't seem to want to give this form of sexism up. It seems we're stuck.

In fact I've been called a male chauvenist pig for saying that men and women should pay equally for dinner. Another time I was looked at in obvious disdain for saying that some guy was too chivalerous.

The left is full of chivalry, and I'm on the political left. One time on a leftist radical board I go to some guy posted a time and place for a rally on the supposedly fastest growing group of people being sent to prison (particularly for non-violent drug offenses), women! These guys didn't even seem to notice that it's men who make 90 something percent of ALL in prison, and has been so from the begining.

I couldn't think of how ridiculously naive and chivalerous these guys were and how self centered these women were for asking to be given priority over something that effects FAR more men. I told them I thought that this wasn't any bias against women but that women were just starting to be treated equally. It's been almost a year since that happened and it still gets to me!

In my opinion it can be likened to white people asking for a take back the night type rally for all the white people put in prison for drug offenses, while black folks make up a disproportionately higher number of those in prison for drug offenses. Which would be absolutely ridiculously racist.

My point is that chivalry is so socialized into men it seems impossible to abolish. And I don't think many women are going to fight against it. SO how do we do it? That's all.

Yeah, on the chivalry issue, I don't oppose chivalry as a romantic gesture or interaction that is reciprocated in different ways. I totally oppose it when it becomes law or is used to keep men in subservience and devalue the lives or rights of males, as it so often is.

While chivalry in our current day might be looked upon as merely gentlemanly good manners, it also plays right into the tactics of the feminazis who dedicate themselves to the cultural demonization of men.

The dark underbelly of chivalry is a naive belief that women are inherently innocent, morally superior beings deserving of special deference and protection by men.

That illogical and sexist notion gets played out with lethal consequences in the rabid Domestic Violence Industry, which premises its predatory assault against men on the ideological lie that women are a "victim" class and men vicious oppressors.

Chivalry also plays a role in men's extreme reluctance to call the cops when they are battered by their female intimate partners, because it's not "manly" to see oneself as a victim of the "fairer" sex.

The most recent Department of Justice DV survey reported that 38% of abused individuals are MEN! (Imagine, absent the chivalry "filter," what the REAL numbers are!)

Oh, the fems LOVE chivalry... it's the one form of sexism they embrace!

Notice their ain't no feminists around when the lunch check arrives, the lifeboats are lowered, the girlie P.O.W. needs rescuing, or the towers are burning.

Nope. Only disposable, chivalrous men.

It's interesting that you titled your post "Chivalry is Feminists Secret Weapon." I was about to make a short post stating that chivalry is radical feminism's most powerful weapon. Actually, I think it's both.

Chivalry is the retention by women of the privileges enjoyed by women in the pre-feminist era. Those privileges are not justifiable given that women have shed all the obligations/responsibilities/constraints of the pre-feminist woman. Analysis of the injustices suffered by men shows that they all have the same fundamental causative factor, namely the unjustifiable retention by women of pre-feminist privileges.

Excellent insight, well-stated.

And today, "shedding all the obligations/responsibilities/constraints of the pre-feminist era..." has become federal and state LEGAL DOCTRINE!

Much of the law in the family/divorce/DV/child support courts is precisely about ensuring that women will not be "disadvantaged" by EQUALITY under-the-law.

Contemporary feminism has never been about equality. It has always been about going well beyond egalitarianism to create and compel state-enforced special privileges and entitlements for the X/Y chromosome gender.

That is sexism, discrimination, and tyranny... plain and simple.

We are the hundreds of thousands of shamed men clutching to the shells of our dreams with all the frustration and outrage that the past 30 years of man hating feminism has left us with. In this world devoid of kindness, encouragement, justice, etc., we lean on the weak moral supports still available in our time, even as militant feminism pounds on the doors of our churches, and other last bastions of refuge

Out of the remnants of our tattered lives we men are forced to chart a new course in perilous seas, during a time that tries our souls. We stagger forth carrying the deep pain and anguish we bear, because of our destroyed: families, reputations, careers, homes, livelihoods, minds, hopes, and desires

It is against the aforementioned back drop that we find ourselves endeavoring forth into a brave new world. I for one do not see myself nearly as great as the pioneers who forged this great land, with their iron wills and brave hearts, but I ungrudgingly shoulder the task and lean into it. It must be done by someone so who better than you and I.

We men have come a long way in our efforts to rid ourselves of that abhorrent pseudo-science propagated and disseminated primarily by women's studies programs on college campuses, and through the militant feminist movement. Men have reluctantly taken up political and legal arms against a sea of troubles whose fury has battered and destroyed all semblance of refuge and hope that here-to-fore they had known as their normal lives.

To be a man today in American society is to wear the bulls eye of the militant feminist movement on your back. If you are breathing, you wear the homing beacon of the misandrist hate mongers who seek your last ounce of blood, and your last cubic inch of breath. Slavery for life is the reality that the justice system of America offers the man who comes from the broken family, and pariah is the scarlet letter that society brands the feminist emasculated male with.

As I sit here in the fox hole of my existence, contemplating the future of myself and my gender, I see what we have been, and see also the need for a new paradigm for men who must live under the tyranny of injustice brought about by our femicrat leaders. I grieve for those who I see enduring worse then I, and steel my pain against my own natural frustrations and reactions.

In the quietness of my doom as I sit listening to the ticking of my solitary clock, a new man emerges out of the survivals skills that have brought me (him) thus far, all these many millennia, faithfully to this day. In the deep resolve of everything that says, “I exist, therefore I am,” I delve into the cunning of my intellect and strive to formulate that new paradigm of who I will be to contend legally with the deviltry that confronts me on all sides. Focused in my masculine courage and endurance, and unencumbered by the negativity of militant feminist mind control and brain washing, I take comfort in knowing the messages legally delivered thus far to those hate monger militant bigots have largely found their mark. I meditate more deeply and peacefully transition into the evolved new life form that is needed to legally bring new messages to those who have dared assail me and my kind with endless cruelties and outrageous misfortunes that I should never have borne in this life.

If I have had taken from me all other purpose than what I have now, then I am content in this. I would like the company of a strong alliance of companions to go with me on this journey, but I pray fervently that I will not relent even should I find myself the last person standing.

Sincerely, Every Western Man & Woman of goodwill today

Wow.

The best poetic piece of writing on the existential condition of MAN in FemAmerica that I have ever read.

This deserves to be carved in stone and placed before the Lincoln Memorial in D.C.

This anonymous writer-poet should be funded by N.O.W. to continue shedding light on the true condition of humans struggling amidst the carnage their 30-year war against civility, justice, and families has wrought.

Good stuff man! More please.

I salute that beautiful piece of writing by “Anon,” and the effort he put into it. I'm not nearly so eloquent as "Anon," and I struggle to make even short sentences sound cogent (not really).

On the other hand, I just made a major communications effort by going out in public wearing a big orange T-shirt with the words:

FEMINIST LIES (blue background)
MAKE BAD LAWS! (black background)

I had a lot of specific things (errands) I had to do so I tried to pretend that I wasn't aware I was wearing this big billboard of a T-shirt. The iron on was a full 8 1/2 X 11 and I used 129 font size. "72" is the biggest font size Microsoft Word or Publisher has without specifically typing in a bigger size.

On the back it said National Coalition of Free Men, Los Angeles, NCFMLA.ORG.

Surprisingly no one said a word either pro or con, but a whole lot of people saw it.

Again, I salute you “Anon,” and all the others who strive to bring the madness of militant feminism to a reckoning.

Sincerely, Ray
