Hey all, as you know things like this just make me think of buck-shot and a 12 guage. The unbalanced "victim" is bad enough, but what really boils my kettle is the blatant message this sends: Make an allegation that is VERIFABLY false and NOTHING will happen to you.

Let's all send him some love via the 'Net and let him know how much we appreciate his evenhandedness in this difficult issue. Horse piss and intestinal vomit.
This case is not only typical but sends a clear and resounding message. The other thing that is stated twice is how any person (read: woman) can level a charge and get a warrent with out any kind of inquiry or investigation. It's only because of sites like this that this story is out there. I mean, Ben Affleck is a star, and it would have made the news. But, that being said, I am eager to see what the "open and free press" paint the picture to be.
It doesn't GET any more clear than this. Misuse of the law and flagrent attention getting. I can see it now, how the "feminazi" patrol will come along and sing songs in maternal swahili about how this woman couldn't get justice. Write to that cowardly DA and let him know we men are not just going to roll over and lick our balls like he does for his wife when she snaps her itty bitty oppressed little fingers

Mr Carriker,
Where is the justice in what you did concerning Tara Ray and Ben Affleck. I can not believe you sent a blatant and clear message to false accusers: Make a VERIFIABLY false report and we won't touch you. The false allegation racket is going to love this. It's bad enough when the "gains" to be made for false allegations are revenge, divorce advantage, and political agenda, but you just put a "get out of jail/never see the inside of one" card out for any to take. I have friends who are ADAs and Police Officers. I know there are charges you could bring against this women. I am not a lawyer and won't pretend to have your depth of knowledge but how about: obstruction of justice, making a false police report, if she lied to a grand jury: perjury, and on and so on. Mr Carriker this is just plain wrong. How can you let her just walk away? Often after a person is proven innocent, not just acquitted, you always see the blurb: "we are considering pressing charges" which you and I know means : "we're waiting for the press to leave and this to blow over so we can let it go without incident". You have options to prosecute. You could make a stand and let her be a "message" to false accusers. You are a protector of the public and often demand that the guilty must allocute to their wrong doings. You failed us, the people you swore to protect. I am a soldier Mr Carriker. I don't pick and choose my battles, that's policy. You just made open policy that made it open season on men out there. A man without Mr Affleck's resources and exposure would never have the same chance against some unbalanced and evil person. He could face huge debt to defend himself and still incur huge social damage. How can you do this and think of yourself as a "servant". This next part may sound a bit odd to you, but you need to hear this: One day you will stand before your Judge, God, and have to explain to Him how you were so busy keeping your job that you forgot to do your job. Real Heroes, and in the military you meet some, often get no glory or rewards. The reason so many in the military are so religious is that we realize we are going to have to count on God's help and get our rewards for our work when we get to the other side. We accept that. You just perverted the very idea of what any common person would consider Justice.

This last part is not some doom and gloom, but rather is my way of asking your to consider what you have done and what signal it sends. Don't lets life-rapists/life-shatterers get away with this evil twisting of the law.

.. according to feminists. That he could have done this means he's guilty. That's the "thinking". This is how they peg all men as rapists (but don't use the same "reasoning" vis-a-vis women, gee, wonder why not).
Just that he was accused is enough to have him maligned as guilty even if he can prove his innocence. Men: guilty even when proven innocent; women: innocent even when proven guilty (which is why his accuser is not being charged with swearing a false warrant).

What pisses me off is that any woman can make any accusation against any man and suffer no repercussions because government officials are afraid to be seen as "anti-woman". What a crock.

Not only can THEY (womyn)get away with false accusations that exile men permanently from their homes, families, careers, and communities...
THEY (by virtue of gender only, i.e. chromosome-based discrimination) enjoy a tax-payer (you and me bro') supported State apparatus that is dedicated 24 x 7 to making sure men are always guilty-until-proven-innocent and that womyn are perpetually-innocent-victims!
Ya gotta ponder just how men got blind-sided by this thirty-years-in-the-making-gosh-feminism-is-only-a bout-equal-opportunity-for-the-gals-SUCKER-punch!
