I had a similar bizzare experience with Ms. De Coster when I e-mailed her comments that my two daughters made about her jaded and misandrist views as published so frequently in her web screed.
After corresponding that my daughters (ages 15 and 20) felt that her perspectives about "20-something men" were unbalanced, silly, and perhaps even worthy of pity, Ms. Karen replied with vindictive, hysterical e-mail in which she characterized my girls as "bimbo bitches."
I regret I have trashed her e-mail, as the original texts were quite insightful as to Ms. De Coster's need for therapy.
She is not a friend to the men's movement, and she has revealed her duplicity and deceit with regularity in her so-called social commentaries.
I sincerely hope she receives a consistently cool reception from discerning men and women readers, who will no doubt see the true nature of this vile imposture.
As well, I hope she soon gets the mental health interventions she so clearly needs.

is that her ego is so huge that she can't see how far off the mark she is. Rockwells site, even though it has Carey Roberts writings as well as a few others I enjoy, is no longer in my list of favs as of now. Dashing off a quick email to LewRockwell to let him know why I'm not reading there anymore. Vote with your feet, or in this case, your eyes.

I had written a letter to the editor [http://mensnewsdaily.com/archive/letters/03/reade r071003.htm] at MND regarding DeCoster's article here [http://mensnewsdaily.com/archive/a-e/decoster/03/ decoster070903.htm], to which she wrote a reply [http://mensnewsdaily.com/archive/letters/03/reade r091403.htm] So I felt compelled to write to her again and instead of sending it to MND, I chose to send it directly to her. This is her reply to me:
"Mr. H, you are gross, rude, crazy, insane, rambling, and pathetic. I no
longer "pity you." People like you deserved to be laughed at and ignored.
Consider that done on my end. Don't write me your sick shit anymore, please.
Karen A. De Coster"
Is she LOOKING for trouble? I guess so.

IMO they are both irrational hotheads. Neither one has a shred of intergrity. They deserve one another! :) I call it a draw.

I too recently had a run-in with Karen deCaustic. I wrote her what I thought was a not-unfriendly email with some editorial notes about misspellings, incorrect use of Latin, etc., in one of her blogs, and was immediately blowtorched in reply. I eventually deleted her email without responding, as it was clear I (nor anyone else, I'd guess) would never get through to her -- and it made me sick even to read what she wrote to me.
Due respect to Angry Harry -- who, whatever his imperfections, is not to be compared to deCaustic, sorry Lorianne -- but I don't think she's merely "muddle-headed." She clearly has grave, unconscious emotional issues and is suffering from a serious pattern of projection -- consistently, and very abusively, accusing others of what she does herself -- verging on psychosis.
I am disappointed to hear that Lew Rockwell, otherwise a pretty sensible guy, caved to her hysteria -- a good example, though, of the real female power of which what we know as "feminism" is only one manifestation. "Conservative" women have, and use, the same weapons as "liberal" feminists, and "conservative" men, by and large, are just as circumcised, cowed and obedient as "liberal" men. I suppose Karen does believe she's "anti-feminist," because she does not share the conventional left-wing political values of the "feminists"; but in the larger sense she's no different from them in her character, her aims, her behavior and her tactics.
Unfortunately, the way journalism -- especially online journalism -- works, it's not likely Karen deCaustic will get what she deserves and needs -- i.e. to be totally ignored until she goes away. Thus I applaud Harry for taking the time and trouble to quietly, methodically analyze and expose her ranting, which is what the rest of us need to counter her influence in the public mind.
