Dr. Karl Glasson's informative and interesting article, "Men Behaving Badly-Why", reminds me of what the classic Greek philosopher, Artistotle, stated in his illustrious work, "Politics", with regard to this same subject matter. In the same, he described how the nation and culture of ancient Sparta declined and fell to foreign invaders because Spartan women demanded and obtained privilege, refused to live under the same laws as men,became unjustly wealthy and indolent, and became extremely greedy and materialistic. The Spartan men simply refused to fight and defend their country because of the aforementioned. Aristotle refered to the aforementioned as the "disorder" of women. We now call this "disorder" of women "feminism" or "female elitism." If it can happen in Ancient Sparta, it can happen in the USA as Dr. Glasson so clearly and logically delineates in his article.

-note, this is a comment I posted in another thread, but it is relevant here.
this is why we are part of this fragmented organization called men's activism... we see it day in and day out, blatant unchecked misandry.
Lets face it, for over 30 years, there has been an intense focus on ALL things female as defined by feminism. As some people understand (most here anyway) feminism has made masculinity the enemy, and created the patriarchy as the embodiment of all things evil. Now the bad actions of the few represent the actions of the entire male gender. Feminism has shamed society into regarding men as dangerous, stupid or ineffective and has successfully passed sexist laws that (really) only apply to men.
Over 30 years of false rhetoric and unopposed feminist agendas have infiltrated all institutions in the US. Men have stood around and watched as feminism has intentionally undermined and replaced masculine based ideals, and criminalized male heterosexuality.
Now we have academic institutions that do not empower boys, countless fatherless homes (as men are driven out of their homes by misandric laws), and a huge and complete take over of popular culture that either appeals to the absolute lowest common denominator of masculine interests, or simply makes men look stupid.
Feminists have gone to work within companies, in the government and in the "justice" system to make a living first, but also to carry the feminist agenda of women first at all costs. Not many man think this way about other men. Feminism has created itself in the image of their "percieved" idea of a patriachy.
It is time for a National Organization of men. Unfortunately, most men are not equipped to argue with college trained persons on issues of gender.
There is no collective voice for the male perspective.
By design - we as male activists are considered "fanatics" and to even talk about the injustices men face today we take risks of alienation, or worse....
It is time for us to start talking to all of our friends (whether they want to hear it or not) about what is truly going on...
I tell everyone.

I have been told when I brought up issues:
- Do you hate women?
- Did your girlfriend break up with you?
I am just trying to let people know that there are issues.
Lots of people are against us, but for every few that speak out against us, a few more at least listen.

I'm not seeing it as much I should, I guess. To me, most of the men around me are so whipped that you could punch them in the side of the head and they'd call for an attorney as soon as their lights came back on, instead of hitting back. Their wives and girlfriends rule their existence, since these men know they'll get "cut off" as soon as they give her any of her garbage back. Half the time, if men *DO* behave badly, I swear it's nothing but a play to try to win more non-forthcoming respect from women ("If you loved me, you'd go beat that guy up" or whatnot). In the end, if men are supposed to be the "barbarians from within" as this article implies, then I believe it's only because more and more of us are waking up and seeing that there's really nothing permanent and worth in western society to work for anymore, and as one of the other posters said, why not let it fall apart? Maybe something better will come along later.

For 150 years organized feminism had promoted hatred of men. They have actively sought and fought a war against men, with the blue uniform goon squads as their front line troops. For 150 years most men have turned away and let them take everything including the lives of our families and brothers. Its time that men began fighting back, really fighting. Its time that we stop lying down while millions of men are destroyed by their feminazi government SS squads in blue. MEN need to demand that injustice against men is no justice at all. Kick a feminist today. Kill a goon tonight. Support every MAN who stands up to them for WHATEVER reason. Ignore the LIES of their feminazi media machine. Rape-hate is THEIR problem, not the problem of men -- at worst rape deserves a $20 ticket like overtime parking. Waste them all. Plant them in fields. Destroy them where they stand. Burn them out. They want "domestic violence"? Well, give them some real domestic violence to talk about. Their WAR ON MEN has been going on for more than a century, and its long overdue for MEN to start fighting back, really fighting back.

I am already 'spreading the word'. Unfortunately I am getting a lot of flack back from men.
Two friends and I discuss this matter at work fairly often recently.When another guy overhears our discussion he wants more info then gives us his opinion. The next thing I know, I am being accused of "Making a big deal out of nothing". He then starts up an anti-equality conversation with those around him and I am getting a bad repuation. Then another friend who claims that he is "neutral" to the whole situation (He "doesnt care"), starts spreading the word of all the "fuss" I have been making.
For the most part, I am only asking for "the same freedoms and priveleges that woman have". WHY are men opposing this? Even if you don't believe in fighting, men will come out neutral or better!!
Why would someone *oppose* a situation that will result in their situation being better or, at least, no worse off, than it is now??!

This is real simple. To borrow something from the communist SOB's, it's "false conciousness." Basically, feminized men have bought into the lies that are spread throughout society by the women who want to control and dominate men. These are the same men who won't ever admit a woman can commit homicidal violence, won't strike a woman even in self-defense, etc. I don't know how to argue with people like this...they are so blind as to the real nature of things and how they're shaking out in this day and age.
