"""""""'"""""Mr Harvatt said he reported the matter to the DPI but one of his superiors "laughed it off"(sic!). Police are now investigating"""""
After a couple of decades seeing men get kicked in the groin in the media just "laughing it off" when seeing it or hearing about it for real as in this case is the (normal) conditioned response.
I just don't understand why there isn't a personal lawsuit filed. At least Mr. Harvatt has the proper attitude about this. He said the reason this assault was not being treated seriously was because it was "a woman kicking a man." Of course we all know what hell would have been let loose if Mr. Harvatt had kicked her in the butt as a joke. He definately would not have retained his job like she has!

If he had kicked her in the groin in self-defense you can rest assured it wouldn't be a laughing matter.

Just where is this man's wife (or significant other) in this picture? Why didn't she look up little miss cathy career and stomp the shit out of her for attacking her husband?
If a man hurt someone's wife like this he would in all likelihood have to deal with a very angry husband. But women don't seem to have the same protective natural instincts that men have; if it is indeed a natural instinct.

Makes sense, I suppose; although from a biological perspective. I'm not surprised that said instincts only seem to apply to children and not husbands. Men are easy to come by - if one gets killed off women can go hump another one. Children OTOH get more instinctive protection afaict.

Huh, immediate recollection is a dream I had roughly a month ago, where some guy broke my boyfriend's wrist so I broke the random guy's nose. I don't know if it would occur to most women to take the physical revenge upon someone for their husband, but I would. Instantly.

1. "I just don't understand why there isn't a personal lawsuit filed."
I don't understand either, unless this poor guy is so conditioned he thinks it's funny too. If this happened to me I'd sue: the woman, the company, and any advertisers the woman said contributed to her behavior.
"After a couple of decades seeing men get kicked in the groin in the media just "laughing it off" when seeing it or hearing about it for real as in this case is the (normal) conditioned response."
#2 A good defense lawyer would find out what programs this woman watched, AFTER SHE GETS SUED, and use that for a defense, just like those kids you read about who committ murders, then blame a music recording artist for their lyrics. You'd see a lot less male bashing on TV after such a law suit.
