"MSNBC had a segment on anti-male bias at the NYTimes..."
What??? Details. details.... I have been waiting for this for a long time -- for someone to talk about the NY Times bias in a major news source. What was said? I program my home computer; beam myself into the future.

Yes, it's true. MSNBC has begun to pull it's collective head out of it's ass and has hired Joe Scarborough and Michael Savage. On Scarborough Counrty, Warren Farrel and some wuss from the Washington Post were on discussing anti-male bias at the NYTimes. Farrell mentioned that he wrote hundreds of articles that the Times aceepted when he was with NOW and that as soon as he acknowledged the male point-of-view, they were all denied. Soon after, he was told not to bother submitting any more. The wuss siad that articles are refused all the time and Joe (Scarborough) jumped in and laughed saying that from accepting hundreds to accepting none is pretty obvious. He (Joe) also showed a few Times quotes; one from the old Sr. Editor saying the Times will not show a "white male perspecrive." The wuss said "what's wrong with that. it shouldn't show any perspective." Joe showed a quote some hag (not Maureen Dowd, a different hag) wrote ON FATHER'S DAY a few years ago asking if women were really better off with or without men and if men were worth the "trouble."
The wuss tried to do some verbal gymnastics and doubletalk but he soon realized he wasn't talking to Katie Couric, Oprah, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Barbara Walters, Dr. Phil, Donahue, Larry King, Jane Pauley, Matt Lauer, Dan Rather, Leslie Stahl or any of the other softball lobbers out there. Scarbrorough pretty much tore him a new one and Farrell (as always) appeared nervous and a little unconvincing but did a decent job.

B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. It's about time. Watching the lace curtain slowly deteriorate is like a fireworks show from heaven. I'm gonna open a beer and enjoy. Marc

Yeah, it's good to hear that Farrell and others who speak for the men's movement got that kind of high profile publicity. Let's hope that it continues and builds.

It is about time the plight of men in Western culture got some recognition.
If the population of men in this country were a separate overseas nation the US would send in military forces to overthrow the vile despotic dictators that oppressed them and the media would be singing hosannas to the heavens on how grateful they are to the US for their liberation!
