So long as we have Men's and women's awards, and then a second class for "Women only" awards, those awards will continue to be seen as second class awards, and the winners as "Not bad ... for a girl."

But if women want to continue to play in the minor leagues and pretend they're in the majors, it's their delusion.

I fail to see how women will ever "catch up" with men if they are running a separate race. Having equal parity with men means being able to match men on their own turf. Margaret Mitchell did it. Harper Lee did it. Hell, Jackie Collins did it! Having a separate, women-only award is a cop-out.

Women want it both ways.

One way when it suits them. Then the other way when it suits them.

Women don't want equality. They just want it all.
