Statutory Rape of A Boy - No big deal!
posted by Adam on Sunday April 27, @11:44AM
from the Boys/Young-Men dept.
Boys/Young Men Dittohd writes "Have you seen this yet? In Houston, a 27 year old woman teacher at a private school was convicted of having sex with a 13 year old boy over a seven month period and got 30 days in jail, a $500 fine, and 10 years probation. This sentence was given by a woman judge. According to TV accounts, there is an "uproar" over this light sentence.I wonder how much of an uproar there really is and I also wonder how hard it would be to depose a judge who hands out a sentence like this, whether or not she is an elected judge. I know judges are supposed to be "permanent" in many cases, but I wonder how difficult it would be to overcome this obstacle. Anyone here have ideas on such a possibility?" The Gonzo Kid also submitted this story and said "30 days, and a $500 fine for a 27 year old female teacher having sex with a male student. Guys, I'm absolutely speechless for the moment. Especially since I know of someone who got 90 days and a thousand dollar fine for a petty offense."

Yesterday evening I was in the hot tub at the place where I work out. At one point everyone got out except me and two guys (as I found out, one was a high school sophomore, the other was a high school junior). On a whim I said to them, "I'm curious, how do you guys feel you're treated in school because you're male?"

They hardly had to think about it, which I didn't expect. I thought they'd be surprised that anyone asked and have to take time to respond. Their response was, and I quote:

"It's horrible."
"We're treated like garbage."

I asked if the other guys in their school felt the same and, without hesistation, they said, "Yes."

I asked if they talked about the problem with the other guys and they said, "Yes."

Then I asked what they were doing about it and they said, "There's nothing that we can do."

It's like under Stalin or Hitler or any other firmly established, totalitarian regime: Most people feel they can't do anything and so they stay quiet to try to minimize their troubles. Needless to say, I gave them a pep talk (including a pitch on this wonderful Website). One of them seemed depressed at the end of our conversation, but the other seemed upbeat, shook my hand, and said it was a pleasure to meet me.

The day before, also in the hot tub, a group of about 6 high school girls got in the tub. A minute later a guy their age got in. He started to talk to them and several of the girls gave him a look of disdain. (He looked like a perfectly nice guy to me, and he was certainly being polite.) As I got out, I looked at him and said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear, "Good luck."

He gave me a look that was a combination of sadness, frustration, irritation, and sincerity, and said, "Thanks."

Young men and boys know they're getting crushed these days, and they know they're being crushed solely because they've committed the crime of being born outside of the dominant, female biological group. They're the ones we most need to reach with a message of hope. They can throw off the dual demons of feminism and anti-male chivalry. They can overthrow misandry and all of its associated oppression. And despite their feelings of hopelessness, I think they're getting close to doing it.

Thomas is completely right.

The kids, boys, need support. They're a good bunch of kids, but men just aren't giving them the messages they need to get on with the job. They'll go it alone in time but if more and more men stood up and just said, "I'm gut sick of feminism and I'm not going to take it anymore", then you'd be helping to make a better world for everybody. Men, women and children.

What did Mr Farrel say? " Women can't hear what men don't say."

End of story!

First off, Thomas, All I can say is; If a group of teenage girls got into a hot tub with me, I'd get out FAST!
#1 because I NEVER want to be alone, with no witnesses when ANY females are around. (for the obvious reasons)and #2 Simply because teenage girls annoy the s#!t out of me!!

However, it was a great thing you did talking to the boys, like you did. We should all be doing this. I don't get out much, but when I do I will look for similar oportunities to talk to boys and young men about the problems faceing all males these days, conserning feminism and women.
Problem is, I tend to "scare" people., Because I'm kind of a big, fat, scary, Indian guy.
But I'll try, none the less.
If more of us talk to these boys, maybe THEN there will be fewer school shootings. No one will admitt to it, especialy in our government, the media and feminists, but one of the MAIN reasons these boys are "freaking out" is BECAUSE of the way they are treated and viewed in the culture, in schools and the media. Yet the whole phenomenon is dissmissed as "Males are by nature violent and evil...".
When one is given no alternitives, one will MAKE an alternitive. and that often ends in disaster.

Judging by their Website, the National Coalition of Free Men doesn't have a chapter in your area. You might contact the Independent Womens' Forum to see if they are doing anything in your area or at your school. They're an organization primarily of women, and they're mainly concerned with issues as they affect women, but they are not man-haters. Quite the opposite in fact.

This is nothing new; even 20 years ago in high school, I was openly on strike because of the double-standard in women wanting equality but still wanting special treatment and the right to any snub, humilitate and and treat with disgust any guy they thought to be "beneath" them without even considering respect or fairness.

At the time, I wanted to believe in all the "gendre fairness and equality" garbage, however, not one girl ever asked ME on a date (although plenty indicated they wanted me to ask THEM); but who'd want to subject themselves to that kind of humiliation if it gives them a carte blanche to reject and abuse? (Then they have the nerve to wonder why the only men they go out with end up being insensitive gerks).

Since then-- and only recently-- I've learned better, but I can't imagine it's gotten better for those who haven't; males are hit with impossible expectations and brutal rivalry while it seems females are in some type of sisterhood conspiracy of which the males are victim.

Once again, I think males need to assert their dominance and indepenedence, and realize that anyone - male or female-- who gives you grief over it is simply trying to drag you down.

Armed with the courage of their convictions, guys will be able to stand up for what's right, and assert their natural leadership and superiority, and dominate anyone who tries to insult or otherwise bully them into submission-- don't abuse, just give better than you get, and show them that if they're angry with you for no reason, that you can get angry, too.

This response goes for any one who gives you feminist lines-- male or female-- and let the truth bear itself out. You don't have to suppress yourself anymore.

If you want a woman, TAKE her- and if she gives a polite refusal, respond like it's her loss; however if she gets snarly (like a bitch out of heat responds to a male dog) then don't waste a second putting her in her place; you want to show her-- and everyone-- the TRUTH, i.e. you're a nice guy but won't take any crap, and it's not bcause you "can't take it" since only fools fall for that line; likewise, even the most beautiful women don't have anywhere near the confidence that their beauty indicates, and usually go for guys who aren't intimidated.

The article states that this rapist must pay for DNA testing to determine if the 13 year old boy is the father. CHILD SUPPORT!!! What else?

This boy WILL be ordered to pay his rapist for decades, or else HE goes to jail. Let's look at the ramifications:

* Once he turns 16 he has to PAY! No job...then get one, the court will impute income. ARREARS!

* College for the boy you say, well fine as long as he works full time in order to PAY his court ordered child support.

* Oh, the boy needs a second job in order to be able to afford college expences and pay child support. Then a second job it is...but she gets an increase in child support as a result. The boy cannot quit that second job lest he fall into arrears.

* Student loans? Count it in as income...more child support.

* And so on, you guys know the score.

I don't post here that much anymore, as I am usually caught in the thick of things with respect to work, but I want to say something on this subject: I genuinely doubt that this boy will be forced to pay child support. So much so, that I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is - $100 towards a fund that will fight this type of egregious action in this case if it is enacted. I don’t make much money, but that’s what I’ll offer. Anyone else up to the challenge?

BTW: If this does come into play, the state should be sued as well. Punitive monetary awards and 0 tolerance for sealed settlements are A MUST when successfully litigated from our (the correct) side.

Oh, the reason behind the DNA testing? Corrective state settlement with respect to finding out exactly WHO the father is, and subsequent enslavement of that poor bastard if it is indeed not the boy.

Of course, the boy is now scarred for life but what the hell: Just another brick in the wall, huh?

I wouldn't bet so fast, man.

In Iowa, the government has confiscated the savings of an 11-year-old boy. Rylan Nitzschke saved $200 from chores and shoveling snow, but now his savings belongs to the state. Why? Rylan's father allegedly owes child support - for Rylan! - and the father's name was on the boy's bank account.

OK, so this is a fluke, and the state will return the boy's savings, right? Wrong. State officials have no intention of returning the money. And why should they? They receive federal funds for each dollar they collect. Returning Rylan's piggy bank is bad fiscal management.

Such expropriations are far from unusual. In West Virginia, child support officials cleaned out the bank account of an 85-year-old grandmother whose son allegedly owed child support. The son never paid into the account, which comprised her life savings. She was also charged $75 processing fee.

Children often pay child support to grown-ups. In California and Kansas, minor boys statutorily raped by adult women must pay child support to the criminals who raped him. In one case, the boy was drugged before sex.

The elderly can also become targets of rape-for-profit. A disabled 85-year-old man, sexually assaulted by his housekeeper and awarded damages for the assault, was ordered to pay her child support, and his pension was garnished. He was denied access to the child.

(more at http://mensnewsdaily.com/archive/a-e/baskerville/0 3/baskerville031103.htm)

More? Arizona: Senator Peterson, sponsor, apprised Members of an incident which occurred in Kansas wherein a 13-year-old boy was being supervised by a 19-year-old girl. He explained that the 19-year-old girl had sexual relations with the boy and she became pregnant. Senator Petersen stated that the 19-year-old was found guilty of statutory rape and the young boy was found liable for child support. Senator Petersen informed Members that the parents of the boy have had to pay the child support even though the boy had a criminal act committed upon him. Senator Peterson explained that the proposed legislation will exempt minors and their parents or legal guardians from liability for child support when the child for whom support is sought was conceived in an act of statutory rape or sexual assault upon the minor parent.

In a bizarre Alabama case, a woman deliberately got pregnant by having sex with a male acquaintance who had passed out after drinking; she later bragged to friends that it saved her a trip to the sperm bank. The courts ordered him to pay up.

Don't be so sure. Make sure you can afford that money, my friend.
