She actually wrote "Man Movement" but that doesn't matter. The general public still isn't aware of us. It is going to take more daring women like her to get the mainstream to take us seriously.

Sounded pretty good until she got to the last part where she sounds as though only men can fix this problem.

Where are all these women who can do anything a man can do, only better? Seems to me that most men have been convinced that women no longer need us, so why should we help them in any way.

With articles like this, we ought to get permission of the publisher to use them, then print them off and distribute them anywhere we have an opportunity. If possible, we should also list contacts and websites including this one on those reproductions where supportive people can network with us.

So many people out there are thinking exactly the same thoughts conveyed in this article and many others like it linked on this site, yet those folks don't know where they can turn to find like-minded people. The greater in number and the more organized we become, the stronger we will be and the higher our chances of creating social change will be.

The article was certainly a great read!

Also, the article was first published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, probably the most important paper in Atlanta. It's good to see more and more people standing up to the hateful women who behave in the way described in the article.

I particularly enjoyed the following lines. They don't apply to 100% of women and men, of course, but they do describe the dominant paradigm of the sheocracy under which we live.

"The men no longer care to please their women because they know they can't."

Ya think?

"In an instant, a dozen shrill, power-hungry women converged upon a table and started screaming at subordinates to follow their spontaneous, ill-prepared orders."

I've seen this type of behavior by women more times than I care to remember. And I've seen the men cower in response exactly as many times.

"What makes women think they are at all important?"

I've encountered many thousands of women who've been deluded into thinking that women are all important.

"The balance of power has shifted so dramatically that women have developed a delusional sense of self-worth."

And this started with their delusion that they would gain absolute reproductive power through reproductive technology. How easily they forget that it was almost 100% men who freed women from their biology by developing the safe, efficient, relatively inexpensive birth control and abortions that freed women to fully enter the workplace. And it is further advances in reproductive technology that are returning a balance of power through the development of male birth control, cloning, artificial wombs and other advances.

"Why risk failure when fearful employers hand you the vestiges of victory?"

Let's see... A man and a woman are competing for an advance within your company. The man is the better employee. But how much do you want to face a law suit? If she's not chosen, the woman may well bring such a law suit or accuse the decision makers of creating a hostile environment or sexual harrassment or even sexual assault. If it's conclusively shown that the accusations were fabricated, the woman will face little or no retribution for her acts, because punishing women for false accusations would allegedly deter women who truly are victims from coming forward. As for the man, even if he can show that he was the better choice, he has no real legal standing to take action. The choice of the woman can always be attributed to the company's, not to mention the nation's, broadly accepted affirmative action policies.

"Men are wonderful beings, worthy of much praise and appreciation."

And there's actually a woman, author Alessandra Eakin, who is willing to give that praise.

Good on her!

I just reread the following line:

"What makes women think they are at all important?"

I thought that read:

"What makes women think they are all important" rather than "at all important."

That line's over the top. It's obvious that many women are extremely important to the places where they work. Anyway, it's still good to see a woman objecting to the shrill harpies who've taken over so much social interaction in this country. The main reason feminism has garnered so much power in its hatefulness is because so few women have ever stood up to it. (At first, men had little or no chance to do so, because they weren't allowed into the women's groups' meetings.)

I think she left out the causative element of this, i.e. men's hands are tied by chivalry-- and legal double-standards stemming therefrom-- thus keeping them from asserting themselves against these women, but no feminist ever minds anything that helps their cause in their ruthlessness beyond shame; apparently they don't think hypocrisy
It's simply wrong to put women in the arena with men, and then tell them that they're not allowed to fight back against women!

As a result, these walking cases of attitude and penis-envy are able to bully their way to to the top without fear of retalliation, claiming gender-discrimination as their carte-blanche excuse while at the same time using chivalry as a shield of invulnerability.

While such women would normally become short work, recent feminist laws allow them to get away with it, resulting in nature taking its course as power-drunk feminists mistaking restraint and respect for weakness when these men-- the most chivalrous of whom often are likewise the most able soldiers--refrain from responding in kind by casually tearing them a new one, and hence are subjected to abuse and humiliation againt which they are unfairly unable to defend themselves, and hence just are expected to sit there and take it.

The simple solution is for these men to take off the kid-gloves and "forget she's a woman," but I doubt Alessandra Eakin knows that's what she's asking for; rather, I think we'd see the 180 U-turn we saw made famous by Jerry Mathers when "the Beaver" finally launched a retalliatory barrage of insults at a long-time abusive schoolgirl, and landed in big trouble as she burst into tears and everyone turned on him.
