I personaly go on record as saying that the Miller beer ad featureing the girls fighting was sexist, inappropriate, demeaning and debasing to women, and just plain wrong.
However, Notice that when ever WOMEN are debased or dehumanized or humiliated, the out cry is deafening!
Where were these same complainants during the 'Progressive insurance' commercial fiasco? and the MANY other anti-male ads we see DAILY where men are abused, humiliated, dehumanized and be-littled?
News programs did features on this particular 'Miller beer' ad, saying how it was so "Sexist" and "wrong" and "evidence of the patriarchy in advertiseing".
But of course the 'Progressive' ad and contless other anti-male commercials aren't even the proverbial BLIP on the news media's radar.
One more thing...,
Notice also that when we men complain about any given brutaly anti-male commercial we are always told; "It's like that because it is an ad aimed at women..."
Okay, so who are MOST beer comercials aimed at...?
The arguement falls flat on it's fat, ugly, feminist face, doesn't it...?
and as for letting 'Miller brewery' "hear about it".
You better believe we should.

You make some great points Thundercloud!! I always enjoy reading your posts!
I tend to see most beer commercials as being aimed at women however. There are just as many hunky guys as there are "hot" babes in these ads. I put "hot" in quotes because these playboy replicas just don't do anything for me. I would prefer regular girls with original parts(big or small) and hair/skin colors that are natural, who happen to be cute. And it seems that if there are no hunky guys in the ad, then there is some slob who can barely function on his own. Either way, it is entertainment for women.
Right off hand, I can only recall one beer commercial in which men were depicted positively. It was the one where the pool boy(appeared to) bring the sun-tanning rich lady a cold beer, then twisted off the cap and dropped it in her lap, and walked off with the beer. I believe it was an MGD ad.
If only men would take this metaphor and apply it to their daily lives, and collectively take their heads out of their asses, we would not be in the mess we are in today...
