Bill Maher's New Show

The Media Dan Lynch writes "Bill Maher is getting a new show. After looking at the site I think its possible that a person can submit their own ideas for a topical discussion. Now I don't know the whole score but I believe that Maher did try to bring some men's issues to the table but was stiffled for whatever reason. The advertisement I have heard states that the guests will have far more "Freedom" to discuss their beliefs on the issues. I think this is an oppurtunity worth trying despite the high chance for *rejections*. Personally its my dream to have more feminists and more masculists debating in the same room. Let's hope Bill stands true to his word."

Well, anything has to be better than what ABC's tried since axing his show. It was ironic that it started with talk of replacing Ted Koppel with Letterman, but it was Maher who eventually got cut.

At any rate, I did have a hard time being a Bill Maher fan. No matter how hard he tried to tell some truths from a man's perspective, I just couldn't get past his oft-repeated "men are pigs" stance.

And he blatantly ripped off Rich Zubaty's idea of a feminized America but wouldn't even have him (or any other masculists) on the show.

Maybe his show was better than nothing, but not by much.

I agree but there is a web page to submit ideas. I say whoever has a bit of time on their hands submit something. Submit a few things. Let's see if Maher has got some balls this time.

I am sure that Maher has got balls, the question is will the people that are paying him allow him to show them on the show? I submitted a topic of discussion pertaining to the gender wars, and the future of our society because of them. I also asked the question of who really benefits from this division, and to what end. Maybe if enough of us ask the same sort of questions we might see a good show?

You can only ignore the elephant in the room for so long, before you finally ask it if it wants a peanut.

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned that Maher tried to bring some men's issues to the table.
Yeah, I noticed that too.
Anyone else, besides me, think that MAY have been why his show was canceled...?
Which is wiered, considering the show WAS called "Politicaly IN-correct".
How much more 'politicaly in-correct can ya get, then talking about MEN's issues.
...Sheesh...!
