The BBC and Gender Fascism

The Media Dan Lynch writes "Here is an article(just click on BBC and Gender Feminsim) written by Melanie Philips who takes the BBC to task in regards to new segments that are appearing in coming weeks. Melanie points out many of the atrocities that the BBC perpetuate for the myths of domestic violence. How monopoly networks can maintain status quo and politically demonize men wholesale. Another Journalist (Jennie Bristow) points out the flaws of 'Hitting Home' campaign in her article"A Licence to Indoctrinate". With the indoctrination tactics and the fearmongering designed to make us suspicious of our partners. She alludes that the government is trying to invade our homes. Which is something I blatently state."

So, it is a global conspiricy. Decimate the backbone of any society, the working class family, and they are to be led like sheep. I have always heard that all one has to do is follow the historical ties, and the money trails. We are so busy hating, and fighting each other that they can do just about anything they want, it is a shame!

I can whole-heartedly say that the government is trying to invade our homes. My ex, in an attempt to cover-up her own infidelity, fabricated stories of domestic abuse against me (needless to say there was no evidence of abuse, needless to say any actual abuse). Issues like evidence don't matter anymore as a woman is now judge, DA and jury on any matter relating to the man in her life.

Her lies forced me out of my home, forced me into government regulated silence through a long probation program (just to save my freedom, as my pretrial was more of a witch hunt than it was a procedure in justice).

My probation officer tells me that I should just give up all of my former possessions and be thankful that I have my "freedom." Furthermore, she tells me that it is "normal professional people like me that have no record that 'they' have to watch out for, as people like me don't appear to be criminal...sic...and therefore need closer monitoring"

Extortion, lies, gender profiling, government regulated property abduction, hate.

I am now reduced to a piece of male 'sausage' - ground up in the misandry meat grinder.

How far is the insanity going to go before the rape of men's rights gets mainstream notice?

It isn't that nobody knows this stuff is happening, it's that nobody cares. So, some man has his life wrecked by a woman? Big deal; he probably deserved it anyway - men are stupid, useless shits, or did nobody tell you this? And domestic violence is anything any feminist woman thinks it is, so you probably did abuse your ex by, for instance, not doing everything her way.

OK, I shouldn't be so flip about serious things like this. Your experience sounds truly terrible, and you shouldn't have had to go through something like that. Unfortunately, as things are now, there seems to be no limit to how bad things will get. Feminism is a class-based ideology, and so it tends to see everything in antagonistic terms. So, in order for women's lives to get better, men's lives must get worse, as if there has to be some kind of 'conservation of suffering'. You can see this in some of the metaphores that are used - swinging pendulums, turning tables, see-saws. There is no conception that both 'sides' should rise together. This instinct - that harming men is exactly equivalent to doing good to women, and that doing good to men is exactly equivalent to harming women - will continue to rip through men's lives until its effects are so impossible to obscure that the very security of those who support it is threatened. Unless an aggressive, creative, organised, motivated men's movement comes along, this could take decades.

"Unless an aggressive, creative, organised, motivated men's movement comes along, this could take decades." So what is stopping us? I wholeheartedly agree. I have been fighting all of my life for dignity, and fairness. R.A.G.E. would be a good name for an organisation (Rights Are Good "for" Everybody). I am tired of the downcast looks of men when I try to talk about mens' rights, because they fear retribution from their wives'. I for one am willing to put my ass on the line for my progeny, and the future of humanity.

One thing I have noticed with my somewhat regular trips to the courthouses to spectate trials and court dealings is this. Of all the activists there it is usually women. No make that 'they are women'. From CAS to assault crises centres etc..... They are there demanding "Justice" for the "woman". It never matters to them how rediculous the accusation is. Then again it doesn't seem to matter how rediculous their use of statistics are either.

The thing is, men are working jobs. They are trying to pay bills and basically are doing the best they can to look out for their families or themselves. It is these women that have loads of leisure time to go down to the court house and make a big noise. The women's groups range from all over. From DV shelters to Women's Studies course students.

The ones at the crises centers get paid to "protest" so to speak, with donation money. Donation money that was earned off bogus and inflated statistics.

Men do not call the cops. Men are not reached out to in order to convince them they should call the cops. In fact case after case I have heard where guys are told not to press charges against women. It never ends. Some of the lawyers are really waking up to this, along with some of the judges. The mass public however stays quit asleep.

Ironic that it is the leizure world of women in our countries that allows them to fight for their "Rights" with other people's money.

Until then men are caught in a catch 22 position. Working hard to support the very thing that is destroying their rights.

BBC Scotland had a radio show on as part of this "Hitting Home" week. It featured a couple where the abusive partner was female relating their story (They are now back together as a couple).

The male interviewer introduced the programme thus:
"1 in 4 women are victims of domestic violence. 1 in 6 men are victims of domestic violence. Today we feature this topic from a rather unusual angle - that where the female is the abusive one"

1 in 4 may be a higher incidence rate than 1 in 6 (assuming we even believe these figures), but it hardly makes an abusive female "unusual". It seems that some prejudices are so ingrained that a male interviewer who has just read out statistics which contradict his next statement doesn't even notice.

His first question to the female is "So Emma, what did John do that caused you to hit him?"

Can you imagine that question in reverse? It's obviously the female's fault. You had no choice - you simply had to hit her - what was it she did that annoyed you?

The interviewer can't even stop himself thinking that it was the man's fault and that he must have provoked the women to hit him. It must be his fault. Unbelievable!

If only it were unbelievable! About eight years ago I was watching 'This Morning with Richard and Judy', and they had supposedly cuddly agony aunt Denise Robinson on to discuss the subject of domestic violence. On the issue of women being violent towards men she said (and I quote verbatim), "Men sometimes wind us women up and we have to lash out. They ask for it, really." And she smiled. Of course, most of the audience for 'This Morning' were... female. What nasty people.

On the subject of the BBC's figures, a ratio of 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men translates to 40% of victims being men, assuming equally-sized male and female populations. Another figure being touted was that 80% of domestic violence calls to the police are from women. Assuming the above ratios are true, that means that men are 2.5 times less likely to report domestic violence than women. Amazing how many people can't do basic arithmetic. I guess they don't feel the motivation to.

For those who haven't seen it, Melanie Philips's book "Sex Change Society" is very good and well worth trying to track down a copy of in the US.
