Now we just have to get the word out and demand equal treatment under the law.

This page should be published as a booklet. It has a cumulative impact from reading it. How could anyone read this and not understand the profound discrimination against men today? Very good work.

Fantastic Work---This work needs to be distributed throughout the country. Also, mensactivism.org must grow and we must all pitch in to help it grow. We must organize and grow financially.

As bad as it is in Maryland, I would bet it's worse in California , Massachusetts, and Colorado. This report hits bulls eye after bull eye in its veracity and intelligence. I pay my highest regard to the integrity of the people who have put this brilliant document together.
How can I get this same kind of scrutiny for the man hating, man battering debacle that's know as government and law in California? I am fed up with how our feminazi government abusively treats men.
Gratefully, Ray

Remember it's "losing" not "loosing" and "trial"
not "trail".
Also, it's odd when referencing the Duluth Model to link only to a page which is critical of it. Fairness demands that the opposition be allowed to speak for herself:
The Duluth Model
-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------
Minnesota Program Development, Inc. is a nonprofit agency that works towards the elimination of violence in the lives of women and their children. We recognize that women and children are vulnerable to violence because of their unequal social, economic, and political status in society. We also recognize that gender inequality is not the only form of inequality operating in the lives of women. All forms of institutionalized oppression, including racism, classism, heterosexism, and ageism increase the vulnerability of women to individual acts of violence and to institutionalized acts of violence. The mission or our agency is to focus our work on eliminating one form of violence that women experience-battering. It is also to work collaboratively with other progressive agencies or organizations that are seeking to reduce violence within our society.

Their "Power & Control" wheel describes their prejudices more graphically, so to speak, but is difficult to render here.

I just love this little lie. Suddenly, the evil male because of inequality is not only oppressing women, but now women are being oppressed because of the following unrelated reasons:
1) classism - this is a socialist code word that means women are inferior in their ability to compete in the free marketplace against men. The implied solution is to eliminate the free market, give women special privileges and rights, and oppress males.
2) racism - oddly enough, now racism somehow causes women to be oppressed. There's that evil man again going around being a racist. Of course women are never racism because they are too pure and morally superior to men.
3) heterosexism - suddenly women are oppressed if they are not all lesbians or because men are not all approving of the lesbian lifestyle. There goes that evil man again. Yup, the larger culture has a preference for the heterosexual lifestyle and those evil males don't want their wives sleeping with women while they are married. Never mind that the majority of women are heterosexual, it’s the fault of men because they cause the heterosexism. Therefore men are evil bigots that prevent all women from becoming lesbian lovers.
4) ageism - never mind the fact that the evil white man gets old also. According to the Deluth model, this only acts to oppress women, and the evil male is responsible for the oppression. Yup. That damn evil male. Exterminate them all and then there will be an end to the violence.
Notice how the bigots who created the Deluth model use the phrase “…All forms of institutionalized oppression…” to state that, “….women and children are vulnerable to violence because of their unequal social, economic, and political status in society.”
When using that all encompassing word “ALL” it creates a situation where only one fact need be proven to discredit the entire model. That fact is that men experience discrimination in nightclubs on ladies night, paternity fraud, family court, and more. Oh damn! I guess the model was just completely discredited.
In my opinion, Minnesota Program Development, Inc. is composed of a bunch of male haters that are intent upon the jailing all men and the possible extermination of males.

"We recognize that women and children are vulnerable to violence because of their unequal social, economic, and political status in society."
According to the DOJ over 13,000 men are murdered every year. Approximately 1,300 children are murdered every year and less than 4,000 women are murdered per year.
There is no Violence Against Men Act, or Violence Against Children Act, although this was porposed by one major T.V. commentator last Summer (Bill Oreilly), but there is a Violence Against Women Act that has received billions of taxpayer dollars to deal with violence against women.
Since men are over 3 times more vulnerable to murder, what does this say about their unequal social, economic, and political status in society?
"We also recognize that gender inequality is not the only form of inequality operating in the lives of women."
Yes, the biggest inequality is the incredible level of special treatment that women receive. Men, who have far greater need for protection against violence, go wanting, while women are unfairly favored with billions in special programs.
"Their "Power & Control" wheel describes their prejudices more graphically, so to speak..."
Yes, this unjust treatment is entirely about hate based "power and control" over all men's lives.
If Tom Ridge were really doing his job he would go after groups like this one, who terrorize innocent men and seek to destroy the lives of a large segment of our innocent American population.
Sincerely, Ray

The same discriminatory standard exists in Mass. I know, I was victimized by the system. Denied bail based on her 'word' of abuse without any factual or evidentiary proof.
Gang members with knifes and guns had bail set. I HAD TO PLEAD guilty to get let out of jail... now I have the usual oppressive probation and all of the unconstitutional baggage that goes along with it.
How did this happen to our country? Who represented the rights of men during this corruption? Where was the ACLU? Or watchgroups?

It could get cleaned up a little, and serve as a overview (and template) of the problems that men face in society today at the hands of our own government.
Also it could be useful for students caught up in some oppressive 'gender studies' class.
This website needs more links on the homepage that clearly outline the injustices that men face.

Men need to do grassroots work! We have had our Constitutional rights taken away by the signature of the President to facilitate the wellfare state. Why don't we circulate petitions over the internet, have them signed, and send them in to the press, and our legislators? According to the Constitution the garnishment of wages for "child support" is the same as wage slavery! Why are we allowing this to happen? Why don't we do more than cry in our beer? Have we allowed the system to remove all of our sexual equiptment? Are we not men? Do we not have the right to civil disobedience? I for one am beginning to wonder. If a smart lawyer wanted to promote themselves they could draft a petition to the Supreme Court of the US. Post it on the internet, send copies to the press, and start the ball rolling toward real change. That is if they wanted to change the cash cow that has developed from all of this blatant oppression, and go down in history as a hero!

My reply:
It's a great idea. You have to go to the NOW web site to find anything like what you've just described here. There's only one big problem that I see, and that is the entire content of their letters.
I bemoan the fact that no one has jumped all over this opportunity. Some people do post example letters here from time to time, but not enough, and it needs to be very user friendly.
The most recent political letter posted here was by Warble on paternity fraud with only 3 comments (one mine). It was a great letter, but I cut it down and personalized it so it would look original.
Well at least there are a few of us writing letters, but we need a steady stream of letter writing, and that requires an organized effort, and as I said before, user friendliness so people will use it.
Sincerely, Ray

My reply:
Yes, those tend to be the spawning grounds of a lot of this radical feminism. I just finished ordering new bumper stickers all addressing Women's Studies. My wording is heavily influenced by the fact I have worked on a CA college campus for 15 years where a Women's Studies Dept. is in place.
One bumper sticker has a pile of books so I made several bumper stickers with the following on each one:
WOMEN's STUDIES
PROMOTES MYTHS!
WOMEN’s STUDIES
BASHES MEN
WOMEN’s STUDIES
DECEIVES WOMEN
WOMEN’s STUDIES
ESTEEMS HALF TRUTHS
WOMEN’s STUDIES DIPLOMA!
WHAT JOBS???
(should have added this to the diploma image).
next with the image of a rolled up diploma,
WOMEN’s STUDIES
AWARDS BIGOTRY
and finally,(with picture of mortarboar and tossle, the graduation hat)
WOMEN'S STUDIES
