Progressive Posts Edited Voodoo Ad

	Marc Tolbert writes "Progressive Insurance has posted the edited short form of the infamous Voodoo ad on at this page. It includes links to outtakes and a question section. I am posting this for the benefit of those who have missed the ads in their local markets. If anyone has a video file of the full length ad with pliers please contact me and I will try to get it posted somewhere for everyone to view. Remember to write to Progressive with your opinions on the ad."

Seeing it ONCE was too much, as far as I'm conserned. As a Cherokee, I beleive in the law of 'reciprocity'. In that case, I wouldn't want to be a PROGRESSIVE ad executive. B.T.W., Has any one heared from incredibletulkas? Last I heared he was fileing a law suit against POOP-GRESSIVE. Does any one know how that's going?     TC.

Strange... You can't DO that... (Score:0) by Anonymous User on Thursday January 02, @03:55PM EST (#4) You know, it's kind of wierd that, with the voodoo site is real(Check out the questions about the abismal ad in question.), the very act that got edited out is something you CANNOT DO on the voodoo site(If you go anywhere near the crotch on a male OR female victum, the voodoo doll screams, covers themselves, and says "Don't go there".) I wonder if it was always that way, and Poopgressive just added that part for the hell of it, or if it was edited out due to complaints...

But how much do you want to bet, provided there were both male AND female voodoo dolls, origionaly, that one could ONLY attack the MALE doll's genitals, but not the female's? Then after our letter campaign, Poopgressive not only edited the tv commercial, but altered the webpage as well, due to the flame fest they were getting from us and just your average Joe and Jane, as well. In other words, If you tried to attack the female doll's crotch, it would say "don't go there!" but if you tried it on the male doll, you would be met with no resistance. So I don't really know, either. I can only speculate. Does anyone else possibly know what if any alterations were made to Poopgressive's voodoo site after our complaints? If so I'd love to hear about it.     TC.
