Daly is hardly uniquely radical or original.
Try searching on "without men" in google. Plenty of mainstream feminized media there as well as off the wall feminist stuff.
Try "without women" for comparison.

Hey, I'll joke around as much as the next person, but attacking her physical appearance makes us look like a bunch of nitwits.
Intellectually she is a non-player, and her works are poorly executed exercises in sublimated gender exclusion. How she looks doesn’t make a bit of difference.
For those that wrote of her looks: You pretend that you’re standing disciples of the expression of fairness? You don’t stand for me. And from your written words, from what I’ve read here today, I can state unequivocally that if you want a glimpse into the problem, into what makes people so truly unjust, bigoted, and vile…look in the mirror.
If you've got a problem with what I've written here, then you can post it as a reply in this forum or write me at ppm_now@hotmail.com. I've nothing to hide.

My reply:
I didn't see anyone on this site doing that. Could you be more specific? Perhaps include the remark in question in quotaions as I have done at the begining of this post. I'm not intending to offend, just striving for clarity.

Ray,
Someone(s) moderated the quote in question to "Troll." That means it has probably disappeared from your current moderation threshold. Look for a link that says "1 reply below your current level" in this thread and you will see the quote Mitchell is talking about.

My apologies. I should have copied the remark and pasted it within my response. This was in reference to the following post:
"/article.pl?sid=02/12/ 01/1917259&mode=threaded&threshold=-1"
The contents are as follows:
"Here's a picture of Mary Daly wielding a battle ax near big Jim and the twins.
As you can see, she gives wart hogs dry heaves.
Here are my top six suggestions to make Mary more attractive:
6.) Dress in full Islamic garb, covering everything except her eyes.
5.) Wear a ski mask.
4.) Sew the ski mask's eyes shut.
3.) Wear a paper bag over the ski mask.
2.) Shave her head, tattoo a picture of Cindy Crawford on the back and learn to walk backwards.
1.) Have the president declare every day to be Halloween.
Cheers,
The Madcap Misogynist"
Again, I'll do a much better job of this in the future.

It is always a challenge when dealing with a nasty bunch of radical feminists to keep ones-self above the fray and stick strictly to addressing the issues on their merits.
It is certainly counter productive to come down to their level and engage in the same kind of denigrating behavior that is so frequently their modus operandi. We are highly tempted to hurl just one barbed comment into the fracas, or light just one flaming innuendo and send it streaking into their midst.
Still the old metaphorical adage holds true for us as much as the politician who coined it:
1. ...wrestle with a pig.
(no offense intended to any pig or person)
2. Everybody gets filthy.
3. The pig loves it.
It is difficult not to rake muke, when the muke rakers and trolls come after you/us, especially after treating our own courteous and gentlemanly good will with scorn and derision. One other old saying advises on this by pointing out that it is not wise to cast ones pearls (civil courtesies in this case) before swine least they trample them in the mud and then turn on you/us and devour you/us.
Radical FEMale chauvINISTS have taken muke raking to a whole new level, lower than ever before. Let us neither conversantly descend to that level or chuck insults from a distant higher plane for fear of being drawn irretrievably into that muck and miring ourselves there.
O.K. chuck just one to see them squeal, but then get out of there fast (just kidding). As I stated it is tempting, but don't bite on the baited hook they throw to us. It is wisest to keep to the moral high ground at all times, when dealing with this lot, no matter what.

People wonder sometimes why I have little use for women on a personal level. Contrary to what some of the hate mail I have recieved may suggest, the House of Gonz doesn't have a big "No Girls Allowed" sign on it, nor is my idea of the perfect date a hearty grunt followed by "Go Home."
But 99.9% of all women I know are not alllowed beyond the social "Arms Reach." They are in the "No Opinions" zone on my life. They are not allowed to comment on my decor, my organization, and as many will attest, the snide and condescending "Boys and their toys" comments on viewing my pool room slash workshop slash all purpose den is the swiftest way to get penciled out of my little black book.
I've a mother. Three female cousins, two of whom I get along well with. A friend named Beth. A friend named Cindy. That's what, five women whose opinion means a damn thing to me? Terri, who has carte blanche to drop by, but who usually calls, because she's mature enouigh to recognize and respect "non-exclusive." Tracy and Ann, who I will bother to clean up for. Okay, extend the circle to eight.
Oh yeah, I guess some of the misandrists are going to be convinced I'm a gynophobe who runs screaming at the first whiff of estrogen, or some ogre who seizes every opportunity to insult and demean any given woman, and who delights in making them cry.
Well, some truth in the last. I'm generally unmoved by feminine tears, and in most cases I see them as a sickening manipulative ploy, and hence I'm rather amused that some think they work on me. I associate with women on a regular basis, and for the most part go through the outward motions of social chivalry.
I just don't put up with their shit. I treat them as equals, which means I have the same expectations of them as I would a man. True gender blindness. Tough break, your sitter cancelled. I trust you'll have this problem resolved and will have your ass at your bench at 8:00, no? Otherwise you'll have to use a vacation day, or take an absentee ding.
And so on.
I think it is no coincidence that of the ten work areas I oversee, the two with women on it are the least productive, and all I have to do is transfer those three women around to make other bench areas unproductive. They don't - they can't - do the heavy lifting. They are absent more. They run to the bathroom seven or eight times a day, and usually when something unpleasant is coming up. And they are constantly pushing and campaigning for special treatment. One is at the third go round on the "Verbal, written, DING!" cycle, and has had her third verbal. She blames PMS for bad attitude and absenteeism/tardiness. I'm a sonofabitch because I told her on one occasion that her lack of forsight in having no spare pair of jeans in her locker in cas of period didn't confront me any, and telling her on another occasion that if her cycle was that bad, she should take advantage of her insurance benefit and see a physician about it, but her attitude needed to be controlled.
Never her fault for acting like a plu-perfect bitch. Always the fault of one of the guys for not being "sensitive" enough. Yeah, sure, youbetcha. Why take responsibility for yourself when you can ... (a drum roll please) BLAME A MAN!!!!! I can't wait for when she goes too far and I can hire a man to do a man's work. It's a pity sometime I have to keep two there because of the affirmative action, government contract set-aside. I don't have the best person for the job, but I suppose I have the best women I could find.
We need to do it one day, guys. Stock up on food, water, ammunition. Hoard up a freezer full of meat, a couple dozen cases of beer. Get a pile of books we've been meaning to read, a deck of cards, and a few boxes of fine cuban cigars, or a reasobale facsimile thereof, and then get all the men in the world on one page and take a couple of days for the "International Male Vacation." Sit around in our wifebeaters, don't shave, drink beer, smoke cigars, and play poker.
Serious biz. Not do a fuckin thing, no spiders killed, no waiting on women hand and foot, close our shops - the whole nine yards. And watch civilization collapse around our ears. Trains will be late, if they run at all, us messy men will live up to the pernicious stereotype and let the trash pile up, and the dishes remain unwashed. Pierre and Bruce won't do nails or any hair-dos.
Just throw up our hands, say "Fuck it," and behave like women claim we behave for two days. Do it on a Wednesday - either Tuesday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Thursday. Right in the middle of the Goddamn week. Sit on our asses, smile, and let the girls have their turn.
That's why we need the damn stockpile. Because it will take us a month at least to patch everything up.
Screw Mary Daly. No, on second thought, I don't think I dislike anyone that much.... Except some manhating dyke pheminist, and her and Mary would probably love it too much.

I gotta agree with Gonzo, here, on women's supposed quest for 'equality.'
Far too often it just means "I want what you've got, without working to get it."
I'm so tired of hearing how women could have or accomplish all kinds of great things, without men's help, if only they weren't 'oppressed' or 'discriminated against.' Bullshit. They could have/do all those things RIGHT NOW -- AND at any point in the past -- if they just had the determination and drive or were willing (or capable) of doing the work necessary. No excuses.
Just how much 'encouragement' and affirmative action do women need? You want something, you gotta go get it. If you chose not to go get it, don't blame someone else because you don't have what you want. Contrary to feminist lies and Victimology 101, no one's preventing you. "But it's HAAAARRRD!" Yeah, it's hard. Your point?
I am absolutely both gender and colour blind. No one is 'equal-er' than anyone else in my book. You'll be judged on your words and actions -- not your skin or genitals. So I get called 'prejudiced,' or told that I 'hate women.' What a f**king pantload.
"But you're afraid of strong women." Bullshit. I *respect* strong, honest women, and I sure would like to meet some of them. (I consider myself lucky that I actually know a few.)
"Men are intimidated by smart/capable women." Are you kidding me? What a crock! Take any technical field -- engineering, mechanics, computers, electronics, for example. Men in those fields would like nothing BETTER than a girl-friend who was just as passionate, skilled, and enthusiastic as himself -- someone he share it with. She'd be his ideal woman!
If I hear any more women refusing to take responsibility for their own lives, and blaming all their petty 'issues' on men, I'm gonna blow a gasket! I swear to Christ!
(Thank ya, thank ya verrra much. I feel a bit better now.)
OR, there's the easy, sensible way out of the problem:
Women need to admit that, yeah, they DO need their men around to give them all that stuff they can't create for themselves. And you know what? Men will gladly do it, so long as women hold up their part of the bargain. And what is a woman's part of the bargain? To give men the only things they've ever asked for: Love, Respect, Honesty, Fidelity, Honour, and Happiness.

Ragtime.
I couldn't agree more with your comments.
It made me think about something.
Years ago, before the feminists got their Harppie-claws into everything, espescialy politics, I would have gladly voted for a woman as president of the United States.
But, now..., NO WAY!
I know there are good, honest women out there, but so many of them casualy talk trash about men, why would I or any thinking man vote for a mentality such as that?!?
I beleive that if a woman were to become president at this point in time, any rights, we as men have left, would be completely nullified.
Alot of women would say to me, "oh, you just hate women!"
My replie, 'No, I just don't vote for bigots. and right now I hear WAY to many women talking about how much they hate men. and all the violent stuff they want to do to them.
To vote for a woman now, may bring all that to life, and I am personaly not gonna take a chance on that.'
But whom do women have to blame for the fact they have not "progressed" to the point of haveing a female president in office?
simple. Themselves. But of course, to many of them will not..., No, cannot admit to themselves, that it is their own misandrist, prejudicial attitudes that keep them from attaining such goals. And untill that changes they never will either.
Okay, I feel better now too.

Sheesh! As long as we're goin' down this road, why not take a look at Angry Harry's blog on Men's News Daily today?
The mainstream/radical feminists are deranged, lunatic fiends. Most or all of us realize that. I just wonder how many women, who've gleefully gone along with the hatred and lies, have any idea what's comin' down the pike at them as a result of their self-serving viciousness.

I would not get too smug about just women who have gone along with the hatred and lies. If not for men in the 60s who went along with feminism from the same, feminism would never have come so far. If you were male and went along with feminism of the 60s, you are just as much to blame. I can say that I did not, and neither did my forebears of either sex. Nor have my descendents.

Gonz:
I'd say that deserves an A+ for telling it like it is.
Geez, after reading what you said I want to go back and erase what I said. I was so sensitive so politically correct.
Keep up the good work, perhaps there is still hope for us refuges from the politically correct, brain washing camps.
To think, I grew up fearing the Red menace only to be gobbled up by the radical feminist menace.

Actually, Mary Daly's book is similar to another with the same exact theme.
It is of course Adolf Hitler's book; "Mien Kampf".
Only the "targets" of genocide have been changed.
With Hitler it was Jews, For Daly it is Men.
Just goes to show, things really never change.
Hatred changes faces, but it's mission is always the same.
