This is going to sound weird but the entertainment section for this article was probably the best place for this article.
Women tend to read entertainment and women tend to be very impressionable by what they read.
My peeve about this article is that of the 5 top peeves listed only one of them was a realy concern.
I want to mention again the movie 'Sority Boys'. The movie concentrated on women's concerns but if you are watching every now and again they brought up issues that concern men. It was in a joking manner but I think the message was delivered.
All Im saying is, to get men's issues out there we should be looking at all options or tactics.

This is what we are up against:
What about fatherhood's headaches and pains? Why won't we find any anger-filled best-sellers on that subject?
"Men aren't writing these books because they seem to get what they want," posits Sylvia Hewlett, whose "Creating a Life: Professional Women and the Quest for Children" - about women's battle between career and kids - spawned a national debate earlier this year.
"They aren't anxious, and they aren't in pain like women."
She seems to genuinely believe that men are happy with the way things are. We have alot of work to do. We need to speak up over and over.

"They aren't anxious, and they aren't in pain like women."
Stop right there.
Fathers may not, on the whole, have it as bad as mothers - ....

It is attitudes and comments like this that cause me to gnash my teeth in frustration. It never fails to shock me that people can make this sort of blanket statment with absolutly no proof. Quite to the contrary the proof shows that men suffer as much as women do (if not more). Society requires that men work longer hours away from home. Men are more likely to put their mental and physical health on the line to support their family. {Hence the higher risks of suicide, injury and death at work.} Men are more likely to work jobs with little or no health insurance. { FACT: men are less likely to have health insurance than women.} Men have fewer support networks outside the family. The list goes on and on. The fact is men are suffering from an epidemic. The lack of understanding and consern about anything that is happening to them!
The problem with no name is now men who silently suffer from the mental and physical stresses of work and family with noone to hear their cries. Tony

And one other thing.
NO ONE holds a"Gun" to women's heads and MAKES them HAVE to choose between "Kids" or "career".
I mean that's just IT. women HAVE a choice.
Men, generaly DON'T.
A wife can say, "Okay, I want to stay home with the kids." or "Okay' I want a career." Either choice is deemed fine. ...For women.
So, of course EITHER choice, a woman makes, is MEN'S fault if the woman is not fufilled in the choice SHE makes.
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
Oh, One more thing...,
As far as "Men not being in pain", Mzzz Hewllett.
My guess is, that that's exacly what the Nazis said about the Jewish people while they roasted them.
Or what the U.S. Calvary said while they gunned down un-armed Men, women and children at 'Wounded knee'.
I see NO DIFFERENCE in that mentality and your own Mzzz Hewlett!
Same difference.
Thundercloud.
