Foster's Covers Rejection of Scott Hampton to NHCSM

News Foster's Daily Democrat reports here about the rejection of Scott Hampton's nomination to the NH Commission on the Status of Men. Rep. David Bickford had a really strong quote printed, saying that Hampton's nomination by Shaheen "was kind of like putting Osama bin Laden on a Jewish, anti-defamation board." Also of interest is that the NCFC-NH web site now has a summary of the current history of the NHCSM, which is useful to get background on the commission.

...are radical man hating feminists nominated to head up various commisions concerned about the well being of women - the answer is a resounding -yes!

Why should a person who cares deeply about men's issues be compared to Osama Bin Laden???????

These are sick times we live in.

Eh... since Hampton tried to kill the men's commission in the first place, I hardly believe he cares anything about men's issues. Getting him on the commission would be like getting Osama bin Laden.

This is certainly the point the quoted person was making when comparing Scott Hampton to bin Laden. Mr. Hampton was against the creation of a Men's Health Commission. Why in bluest of blue hells should he be on the commission if he worked to keep the commission from coming into existance?
