I did not see my California Representative Brad Sherman on this list so I will contact him and ask him to support this.

Great Ray! I'll do the same with mine, David Dreier, whose office told me in the past that he would probably vote for it but he doesn't like to "endorse" bills beforehand. I'll try again.

Honorable Congressman ____________:
I am writing to you about an issue that is very important to me. I am requesting that you SUPPORT passage of a bill (H.R. 632) to create the federal Office of Men's Health. The bill presently has 119 co-sponsors!
This office is urgently needed to address the many maladies that afflict the lives of men. American men on average die 5.5 years sooner than women. The quality of men’s lives are negatively affected in all walks of life by lack of adequate attention shown to their medical well being, from prison rapes to prostrate cancer.
The efforts to address the ongoing medical issues of this segment of society have not been adequately forthcoming. Your utmost care and
attention to promote this humanitarian gesture in the interest of all American men will be greatly appreciated.
Very Truly Yours,

We should also tell our congress-people, that if this bill is not passed, more and more men will die, as a result.
If that happens who will fight all the wars? who will women turn to for over the top child support?
And if all the men die the feminists won't have anyone to BLAME for their own short-comeings.
If all the men die the media won't have a whole group of people that they can get away with de-humanizing, anymore.
And if all the men die, women won't have ANYONE to scape-goat. Women will be responsible and accountable for their own actions and choices, then.
So, you see, it is in EVERYONE'S best interest that we have as MANY men around as possible.
See? Men and Marx-fems CAN agree on something.
Thundercloud.
"Hoka-hey! It is a good day to die!"

There's a book called, "DEATH ON THE JOB," Occupational Health and Safety Struggles in the United States, by Daniel M.Berman, copyright 1978.
The book is out of print, but still available through used book dealers linked through Amazon and elsewhere.
In a nutshell, the book chronicles the cost in men's lives to build America. One chapter is titled, How cheap is a life? Another is titled, The official body count. Still another, Why work kills.
Studs Terkle is quoted on the back cover, "This book reveals a truth too long concealed: Charles Dickens is alive and well and living in the United States." Charles Dickens of course, wrote in his time about the deplorable conditions surrounding child labor.
Many of the overt dangerous practices cited in the book no longer exist, but with the push to produce more and more for less and less in the new "world economy" the stresses and pressures on the average worker have never been greater. Guess which sex has always paid a grossly disporportionate toll.
If for no other reason this book is worth owning for the shocking, hidden history that it reveals. I would like to see this book re-released with an update on the issues facing today's labor force. Ultimately, the only people who have ever really looked out for the average laborer's safety interest has been the average laborer and of course his union. Here's an area where the Democrats have outshown the Republicans by light years in being socially responsible.
I still have a letter of commendation from a freshman assemblyman I corresponded heavily with as we shared a common goal to get legislation passed in the occupational health and safety area. The year I think was about 85 or 86. The Assemblyman's name was Gray Davis. OH MY, HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED!

Here is a copy of the e-mail I sent to the campaign manager of Representative Saxby Chambliss who was an early supporter of H.R. 632. He is presently running for the U.S. Senate.
""I was glad to learn that Saxby was an early co-sponsor of House Resolution 632 which if passed will amend the Public Health Service Act to establish an Office of Men's Health.
Source: thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d107:HR00632:@@@P
This overdue legislation will do much to close the 6 year mortality gap between men and women.
Tell Saxby thanks for his support on issues such as these and I will give him my support in November.""
